A Wildlife Paradise on the water across from a Bird Sanctuary and the Gulf of Mexico. Newly renovated, if you want quiet, it is here at Hiller's Hyatt of Hudson! Numerous bird species, including a "pet" named Kramer, (a Great white egret), a Night Heron named "Zorro", A small yellow footed egret named "Fast Eddie" (formally Yellow Foot), parrots, Great Blue Heron, Rose spoonbills, wood storks, and a Bald eagle come by. Many roost in the Bird Sanctuary, part of the Werner-Boyce Salt Springs Park.
It is not unusual to see dolphin, manatees, and river otter come by. There is a nice Florida Room with view of water, as well as view of water and Gulf while cooking in the kitchen. Also, a screened in porch for cup of coffee and breakfast. After staying here, you will know why the West Coast is called the Nature Coast.
The sunsets are indescribable, but we think we captured a good one in the picture shown. Since you are staying on the last canal facing the Gulf of Mexico, seeing the sunset every night is a spectacular sight. Come stay at Hiller's Hyatt of Hudson and see why we are a A++++ rating !!

Fabulous location & excellent hosts. Landlords who live next door willingly share their experiences and make excellent recommendations about local resources. Watching the birds come in to roost at night is a sight not to be missed. You can fish off the dock or feed Kramer...he likes fish & cheap hot dogs. My husband & I would recommend this rental highly.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

My wife and I enjoyed our 2 month stay immensely. The views where spectacular and our hosts couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. The home was updated and clean and well maintained.We loved watching the ever changing ebb & flow of the saltwater canal and it's birds and sea life. If you are looking for a quiet, safe and relaxing place with nature on your door step, we have no hesitation in recommending this one. Thanks again Doug & Marilyn P.
