Why the Owner Chose Louisburgh
I am from Louisburgh and when visiting home I wanted to be near the village so that I could walk home from a night enjoying the music and the pubs. This house is a short 5 minute walk to the village - perfect for a late-night walk home.
The Unique Benefits of this House
This house is literally 4 minutes walk to the village of Louisburgh. If your idea of enjoying your holiday is walking to the village for a drink or something to eat then this is a perfect house for you. It is across the road from the GAA (Gaelic Athletic Association) football field and the attached modest gym. There is a generous communal lawn/field in the development which attracts many young residents for fun and games. Carramore Beach is less than a mile walk or 5 min car ride. Westport is 13 miles to the East. Westport House and Zoo is a favorite attraction for the young ones. The silver strand is 6 miles to the west. The boat to Clare Island is 3 miles to the west. Carrowniskey beach, famous for surfing is 4 miles to the west. Leenane, site of the Richard Harris movie, The Field, is 20 miles south. Delphi Adventure Centre is 17 miles south.
