Christophe made sure to explain how everything worked in the apartment and then walked around the block with us to make sure we could find restaurants, grocery stores, etc. The apartment is well kept and only a block from a metro station, the area is very quiet at night and secure.

Chris and his young son Victor met us and showed us around the apartment and explained how every thing worked. He then took the time to and walked us around the neighborhood and made recommendations for dining and which shops offered the best produce, wine and cheese. Chris accommodated our request for an early check in which was wonderful after flying for 16 hours and arriving early in the morning. The apartment was exactly as advertised, clean, comfortable, charming and quiet during the evening. It is located near 2 metro stops and a large supermarket. If you want the Real Parisian experience this is the neighborhood for it. Fun, Safe and located close to all the major sights either by walking or metro. Chris was excellent to work with, quick to respond to emails and very accommodating. What a super person. I would highly recommend this property to my friends and family when they are in Paris
Owner response:Dear George, thank you so much for your warm review ! You are very cool and friendly travelers, it was a pleasure meeting you. Take care. Chris

The only thing I can say about the Boulangerie Room is that I LOVED IT and I would rent it again for sure! I have been on several hotels and apartments across Europe and this old Bakery was the best experience I have had. We loved the apartment location and loved the area.

I think Christophe's personal attention and the location is what made our stay so great. It's a wonderful quiet residential area, close to the Eiffel Tower, with great shops all around. I really like having the owner manage the property.

The owner, Christophe, was very helpful and, as he was out of town when we arrived the week of Christmas, his good friend met us and pointed out a few key spots in the area. We were given the keys and all relevant information that we might need during our stay (e.g., how to work the heater, the stove, etc.). The apartment is located near the metro and quiet during the evening. Like a hotel, a hair dryer and towels are provided; however, there are no wash rags (to be expected outside of the U.S. so we brought our own). We liked that there was a kitchenette as it helped keep the cost of meals down and was very convenient when we were tired after a long day of sight seeing. The kitchenette was especially nice as many hotels do not allow you to take food in your room. We had a very nice stay and would definitely rent from Christophe in the future!

After much searching I found this apartment on-line. Luckily it was everything it was advertised to be: very clean, well-located and decently priced. Christophe is very friendly and welcoming and works hard to make sure guests enjoy their stay. (I also met his wife and father in-law and they are all very nice.) It's a 15-20 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower and the delicious creperies of Mountparnasse in the residential 15th Arr. I liked being in a real Parisian neighborhood. I highly recommend this apartment.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was clean and tidy, very well located and affordable. There is a large supermarket less than a block from the apartment and the Eiffel tower is within walking distance. The hosts were exceptionally kind and helpful and stored our bags at their own home for us and also steered us in the right direction when we asked questions. We have already recommended this property to several other people and feel it is well worth a look if you are visiting Paris.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Boulangerir Room while in Paris. The apartment was exactly as advertised, clean, comfortable, and charming. Chris met us and showed us around the apartment and walked us around the neighborhood. We were so close to so many wonderful spots. Just a few steps from cafes, several street markets, coffee shops, and 2 metro stations. We walked several times to the Eiffel Tower and back, even at midnight, and always felt safe. We feel we received great value in a wonderful part of Paris.

We loved this place. Chris met us with a very warm welcome and showed us around the neighbourhood, his favourite bakery, supermarkets, cafes etc. It was close to two Metro stops, so getting around was cheap and so easy. We also were close enough to walk to many places. It was so nice to be able to use a washing machine instead of washing our things in tiny sinks and to have the option of being able to cook if desired, and to have a fridge available. Being away from from the busy tourist accommodation areas, but still close to everything, was great and we experienced a lovely side of Paris that perhaps we would not have seen had we stayed elsewhere. Highly recommended.

I stayed with my two granddaughters (10 & 12) for five nights, and we felt so at home. Christophe met us when we arrived, and was a great host, providing us with lots of details on the apartment (which was exactly as described), and the neighbourhood. We walked everywhere, but two Metro stations were also within minutes of the apartment. Loved our corner bistro (Rotunde), which we visited often as well. I would definitely recommend this apartment.
Owner response:Dear Vicki, Thank you very much for your nice review, it was a real pleasure meeting you all :-) Hope to see you in Paris again. Merci. Chris

My husband and I travelled to Paris for our 5 year anniversary and stayed in this lovely apartment. The owners were wonderful and even left me a small bottle of Chanel. The location is great as there is a subway stop nearby and lots of restaurants and a grocery store. We ate in the apartment several times as eating out can get expensive. Thanks for a wonderful trip and I highly recommend this apartment.

My best friend and I stayed here for one week and it was absolutely perfect! It is in close proximity to a lot of the scenic tourist attractions. We walked to the Eiffel Tower a few times (about 20 mins). It is close to super markets, cafes, and the metro along with great shopping. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. It looked just as it did in the pictures, even more cute in person. We had a great time staying here and the next time I come to Paris I will try to stay here or at one of the other properties again!!

We spent 4 nights at the Boulangerie room and enjoyed our stay immensely. The room was very tidy, with excellent amenities. The owner was quite kind and met us at the metro station to show us nearby features of the area. The area was fantastic, a little bit off of the regular tourist path, but within convenient walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, metro station and to the river. We wholeheartedly recommend the Boulangerie Room.
Owner response:Merci MA for your nice review, I would be very pleased to welcome you again at the Boulangerie, Take care ! Chris

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Boulengerie room in Feb. We felt like we lived there-I am a cook by profession and hobby and I adored going to the market and little meat and cheese shops near by and coming "home" to make dinner with the lovely fresh Parisian ingrediants. The Room-which is really more like a full studio apartment :) is very close to the metro-but we also walked to the Eiffel tower area a few times and it is not too far at all. The owners of the room were so welcoming and even showed us around the neighborhood when we arrived so we could get our bearings and know the area. I would recommend the Boulengerie room HIGHLY and hope to return to Paris again some day.
Owner response:Thank you for your nice review, have a good week end ! Chris

I stayed in this very cosy space for a little over two weeks and enjoyed it immensely. You are living among other Parisians in the building and the neighborhood, which is convenient to everything (I ran or cycled in the afternoons to Montparnasse, the tower, Notre Dame) but away from the heavy tourist areas. My favorite restaurant was La Petite Rotunde, just around the corner, but it was great to have all the amenities to cook breakfast, keep our wine chilled, etc. Last time here I stayed at the Marriott, and I much, much preferred the new experience of living in this converted shop. Christophe is also a very kind and thoughtful person.
Owner response:Merci Daniel for this nice review :-) You were a very kind and respectuous person, I recommend you to every homeowner Take care Chris

We spend two terrific nights in the Boulangerie. The room was very clean, well equipped, and about a two minute walk to a Metro stop. Christophe, the owner, was great to work with. He was responsive to inquiries, communicated well, and was professional. We'll stay here next time we're in Paris!
Owner response:Thank you Richard, it was a real pleasure welcoming you, hope to see you another time ! Take Care, Chris

We stayed at the Boulangerie in September 2009 for 3 nights and found it perfect for our visit, both because of its attractive ambiance and fit-out, and because of its location. The street is quiet but is only a few steps from a typical busy Parisian neighbourhood of cafes, shops and the metro. We were made to feel most welcome in this special small apartment and will stay again when we are next in Paris.

My wife and I stayed at the Boulangerie room for three nights in January 2010, and we loved it!The owners (Christophe, Angélique and baby Victor) were very kind and warm people who made our stay even more enjoyable. The interior was very comfortable and cozy. The location was also very convenient because of nearby metro station, shopping, and a number of good cafe's and bakeries. It certainly was an unforgettable memory for us.

My husband and I stayed at the wonderful "Boulangerie Room" in early August of 2009. We enjoyed the neighbourhood, both very pleased with the location which was quiet, yet close to the metro, shopping and cafe life. The accommodation itself is well-appointed and delightfully unique. It retains its 'bakery character'and was quite a pleasure to 'come home to'. The owners are lovely people, interested in creating an authentic Parisian experience for visitors. We enjoyed living among the locals and highly recommend the 'Boulangerie Room'
