Why the Owner Chose Minorca
We wanted something near the ocean. We have several friends who have units in Minorca and after our first visit we fell in love. There is an active lighthouse that you can see from the condo and at night it's very charming. You can clearly see space shuttle launches from our balcony.
The Unique Benefits of this Condominium
The ocean is very calming and beautiful but the river has its own unique beauty. Every time we walk to the river we see manatee and dolphin playing and jumping. In the river, visible from our unit is an area called "Disappearing Island". When the tide goes out, it's a very popular spot for boaters, kayakers and canoers to enjoy beachlike activities. Dogs play in the water, families BBQ, play volleyball and frisbee and everyone has a great time. When the tide comes in, the island disappears....and everything happens again the next day.
