Forget about noisy, expensive hotels and traffic—this beautiful townhouse is enveloped in the breathtaking scenery of the Superstition Mountains in Gold Canyon.
This home is in a beautifully landscaped gated community with many part-time residents so it’s very quiet. It’s well-appointed with two master bedrooms with queen beds, walk in closets and their own full en-suite baths and patios, as well as a sleeper sofa in the den with a separate full bath so we can comfortably sleep six. Each room has generous closets and ample supply of towels.
The soaring 20 foot ceilings and many windows in the great room give it a light and airy ambience. The loft provides an additional gathering place so no matter how many people share your space, you can spread out and never feel crowded.
If you like to cook, you will find everything you need in the fully equipped generous kitchen, including a microwave, dishwasher and range.
Groups of six can comfortably dine in or out on the lower patio, and you’ll want to grill up some veggies and steaks on the BBQ while you enjoy the mild evenings and watch the rabbits and birds among the cacti.
Our home is bathed in a delicious pallet of hues typical of the local southwest sophistication and will warm your soul like the morning sun as it creeps in the many windows facing the Sidewinder Public Golf Course. The velvety fairways wend their way seductively through the complex and beckon golfers non-stop from a comfortable distance.
From here you can experience the drama of the mountain sunsets they’re known for. Our “dark skies” ordinance means the stars are abundant, and candlelight is that much more potent.
We are proud to include the award-winning photography of Timm J. Chapman, a local resident, in our home. His work brings the spectacular scenery of the area and this wondrous state inside where we know you’ll enjoy it.
If you simply can’t travel without being hooked into the outside world, there’s a wireless hi-speed connection, flat screen Direct Satellite TVs in both masters and the great room as well as a phone in the kitchen. You can enjoy Sirius XM satellite radio via the televisions. Other amenities include full size washer and dryer, attached double garage, air conditioning and heating and regular trash pickup.
The private clubhouse is mere steps away and has an exercise room, heated pool and Jacuzzi spa with the sound of the waterfall for a relaxing soak, day or night. You can stretch out cat-like on the chaise in the sun or shade of an umbrella poolside. Moments away at the golf course resort is the Gold Canyon Healing Arts Centre and Spa – a full service spa that offers facials, pedicures, therapeutic massages and much more.
For those who like to venture out and see the attractions, there are plenty of them. If it’s sunshine and fresh mountain air you crave, this is a Mecca. We enjoy an average of 352 days a year of sunshine, so outdoors is where we love to be. You can do it all:

If you’re a shopaholic, or just like to see something different, you’ll be thrilled with our gorgeous shopping centers, malls, boutiques, galleries and museums—and don’t miss Olde Town Scottsdale. It’s a great place to buy jewelry.
This is still the ‘wild west’, so you’ll see constant reminders of the gold mining history in the local decor, as well as old western towns and movie sets.
If you like road trips on excellent freeways, you can go south to Tucson for a day or north to Prescott or Sedona. Grand Canyon is a perfect weekend trip. Whatever your pleasure, Arizona is a tantalizing blend of activity and relaxation, re-creation, and excitement.
And don’t be surprised if you’re on the receiving end of a wave and a smile from a stranger. Western hospitality isn’t just a myth. People are as warm as the weather here. In fact, we can pretty safely say you won’t want to leave, and you’ll probably be back.
