Stay at Rainbow6 where you will be at the center of all South Lake Tahoe activities. You Get: A place to Park, A place to put all your Gear, A spa in the back, A ski tune bench, A theatre upstairs, A fully equipped kitchen, A place to dry your boots, gloves etc.
This newly remodeled 3 bedroom is clean and comfortable. Two Bedrooms have a queen bed each and the other Bedroom has two bunk beds(4 twins). This home has 2 living areas; It sports a home theatre in the upstairs Family Room, put a Blue Ray in or play Your favorite video games(bring your own). A big selection of board games is supplied also. Or relax in the downstairs living area near the kitchen. Outside there is a great deck with your choice of gas or charcoal BBQ to cook with. The large lawn area is surrounded by large trees-aspen , pine, birch, maples.Lots of snow collect there in Winter, kids like to build ramps off the deck.
After that long hike you will enjoy a relaxing soak in the backyard spa, nothing beats that!
SMOKERS, You cant smoke inside, BUT there is a covered lanai upstairs and a covered porch out front and the deck out back all with comfortable seating
Highspeed Wireless Internet is included or plug into it at he desk upstairs, a printer is supplied to print directions, show tickets, etc.
SKIERS! No hills or driveways to climb to get to the house. Use our custom Ski Tune Bench to wax and edge your skis and boards, BYO Wax

Why the Owner Chose Y Area
Rainbow6 is very central, its easy to drive in and out of and bike in and out of. You can bike to the beaches and avoid traffic. shopping is close, public transportion is close. we are located in a quiet neighborhood and have found that all the neighbors are very nice as long as you keep them well fed and watered
The Unique Benefits at this House
My wife and I have four boys and we like (especially her) the two living areas. Nothing against the kids but it is nice having 2 real living areas to get a little peace and quiet when needed. This arrangement works well with adult groups also.
"You Can Borrow It" has become popular, if its marked "Rainbow6" you can borrow it. The list includes; beach chairs, bocce ball, sleds, snow boots, shovels clothes dryer (stand it in front of the gas fireplace and hang your ski gloves, socks, etc. on it)
Blue Go station is here, great way to get around and not drive, half a mile from the cabin or less. Also catch Ski shuttles here to Heavenly, Sierra, and Kirkwood, schedules are all online.This corner also has a Raleys grocery, Kmart, Starbucks, and Peet's
Central Pizza has great food, and Peanuts is a very comfortable little Pub. Enter their parking lot from James Ave. Avoid the Blvd. And now a new Mediterranean place, try the lamb!!
The bike path is right here on Eloise and will take you safely to the beaches on Emerald Bay Rd. or all the to Stateline and beyond
Beautiful Bijou Community Park has a world class disc golf course. No green fees!
Southshore Bike Rentals is very good , they have shuttles that will take you over to Kirkwood and other great biking places

We stayed here for the New Year weekend. We were amazed when we first walked in. The pictures do not do this place justice! There are plenty of pots, pans, dishes, and utensils for the whole family. Though we didn't get a chance to use it, the spa was already steamy for us when we arrived. The work area in the garage was great for sharpening the edges on our skis and boards. 5-10 minutes driving to the resorts and casinos. The neighbors are friendly too!

We had a great time at this vacation rental. The location was very central. The house layout was perfect for 2 families & a dog! It has the best stocked kitchen I have ever seen for a vacation rental & was very handy w/ little kids. We will definitely keep Rainbow 6 in mind when we return to Tahoe.

Thanks Dan for renting this wonderful place. We were a group of 4 adults and 2 kids. We really felt like staying at home. Kitchen had all the supplies needed like salt,sugar, oil and other spices you name it. Had enough towels and linens. We did book the stay for only 2 nights. My kids and us wanted to stay longer. We did not get time to use the spa . No noisy neighbours. Close to all the places at Tahoe. We did have wonderful memories at this vacation home. We sure will come back and recommend to our friends in future. Listed photos were accurate. We did receive the deposit sooner than expected. Dan is very friendly in answering phones and emails.

My friends and I went for an all girls getaway. It was perfect. The house was better then expected. More then enough room and we loved the big pillows to plop down on in front of the gas fireplace. The two separate family rooms are great for families with kids, too (although we didn't bring ours :) Dan was always available for any questions I had. The hot tub was an added bonus and we definitely took advantage of it. I couldn't believe how stocked the kitchen was. It blew my expectations away. I'll definitely be back. Thanks Dan for sharing your place with us.

Thanks so much for a great Thanksgiving! The house is cozy and spacious with everything one needs. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, big backyard with plenty of snow play, and everything the house had to offer. The owner, Dan, was always there via phone if I had any questions (or needed advice on getting out of the snow lol) and is very caring and helpful. I can't wait to go back !!!

We had a very enjoyable trip to Tahoe and it was made even better because we were able to "spread out" in this wonderful home. There were six of us including my 11 year old grandchild who is confined to a wheelchair. She loves "Everybody Loves Raymond" and we brought along her DVD's so she could watch the shows downstairs, while we cooked, read or played games. The upstairs theater was great for the guys who loved watching ball games. After a busy day bike riding, hiking or being at the beach, the hot tub was a welcome treat. We were very impressed with this home and appreciated that so much was provided, from laundry facilities to linens, and seasoning in the kitchen, even paper towels. This vacation home, has it all and I have told my friends about it and have passed on to them how they can find it on the net. The owner, Dan has provided excellent customer service and the property lives up to the claims. We look forward to our trip next year and hope that we can once again stay in this home. Thank you Dan for being so kind.

It had been awhile since we had been back to South Lake Tahoe. We were looking for a house to rent that would have room for four adults and our beloved Shih Tzu, Lacie. We found everythign we were looking for at Rainbow. The house was very clean and had more than enough room for all. We played Yahtzee on the back patio, enjoyed TV in the theatre room, BBQ'd again in the huge back yard and had a dip in th hot tub with all the stars in the sky as our backdrop. The house was well beyond well stocked. We brought way to many things that were already provided for us at the house. Dan the owner was there for our few questions and was really nice to talk to. We fished,kayaked,hit the casinos, shopped, took a lake tour and found a great dog beach for Lacie. Hope we can get back real soon. Rent this house and you will be more than oh so glad you did. We were. Thanks again Dan.

Had three families here for a weekend in June and it was just perfect. The home is comfortably updated, everything you need and the two living areas kept the kids and parents on good terms. :) Lovely big bathrooms. Also had friends with a home in the keys, on the water there on the same weekend, but folks wanted to come and hang out where we were. Would rent again!

The Rainbow Cabin was perfect for our families. The backyard was a snow park for our toddlers & dogs, a spacious downstairs living room made a perfect play space for the two infants, and the upstairs movie room entertained the 9 year olds perfectly. The kitchen is filled with everything you could need for cooking (check the supplies before making a grocery trip as you will be pleasantly surprised to find plenty of basics), and there are games for all ages. The wireless was perfect for the iPods, and we will be bringing up the PS3 on our next trip. Dan is kind and accommodating. He was responsive to our questions and incredibly easy to work with. We will be future Rainbow renters.
