This 1870’s Victorian is the perfect place to have a family reunion! Originally the estate of a local Lumber Baron, it is beautifully restored to accommodate today's visitor. Spacious rooms, white wicker chairs on a gracious wrap-around porch, a fire pit on the beach, 200+ feet of private beachfront, horseshoe pits, acres of lawn and beautiful flower gardens - all yours to enjoy for the week. Take in a play at the restored Opera House, visit historic sites, take the ferries to historic Mackinac Island (16 miles) or secluded Bois Blanc Island (2 miles), sail the Straits of Mackinac, cruise the 30-mile-long Inland waterway, bike the new Cheboygan to Mackinaw or Gaylord trails. Or watch the sunset from your own beach, read a book on the front porch, throw rocks in the water, gather driftwood, build a bonfire, watch the stars come out. This will be a truly unique experience, one you'll want to enjoy again and again.

The Unique Benefits at this Estate: We love the spaciousness of the house and the grounds. It is such a gracious home. Even though we are in the Cheboygan city limits, you would swear that you are out in the country when you're sitting out side on the porch or deck. It is so quiet. The only sounds are the birds. And yes we do love to see the eagles flying by or perching in one of the very old white pine trees.
There is lots of room both indoors and out. So everyone has the option to go off by themselves to read, play games, etc. or to use one of the spacious areas to convene the larger group. The covered wrap-around front porch lets you sit outside even in the rain. And it accommodates lots of people. The deck as well can handle a large group.
