Our complex is located in a very peaceful location about 300 m from uncrowded beaches. The centre of the city by the Acheron River is just a few minutes away on foot. Here you will find taverns with Greek and international cuisine, and 3 supermarkets.
For those who arrive by car, there are a lot of other beaches nearby.
If you arrive by airplane, we can provide you with one of our cars.
Very popular among our guests are the pool and grill parties with live music and our comprehensive offers for recreational fun and excursions, on land and water. For example, drive with our small bus to historical attractions. We also offer different boat tours to the islands and diving-snorkelling excursions and water skiing, for those who can and those who have yet to try it out (equipment present)
This and a lot more in a comfortable, familiar atmosphere.

Arrival options: By airplane to Corfu, then with the ferry (about 60 min) to Igoumenitsa where we will meet you at the harbour. Or if you arrive by airplane in Preveza, we will greet you directly at the airport or by car to Triest, Venice, Ancona or Bari, then with the ferry to Igoumenitsa, then it just about 50 km to Ammoudia.

Sports and hiking: During the spring and fall, hikes in the flatland and in the nearby mountains are performed, some with overnight stays in lodges. Starting in May, we drive with our boat to the Gulf where we guarantee that you will meet dolphins. Directly in front of the house is a volleyball court (sand) that is only used by our house-guests. Cycling tours are offered. Water sports: Diving with the boat, compressors available. Water skiing and sailing (Jolle 420), skipper training with the sailing yacht Vichor, 33 feet, motor yacht for island hopping 6 places to sleep, 35 feet. Pool party with live music on request and a lot more.

Beach and river: Ammoudia is a small fishing village at the mouth of the Acheron River. At the shore of the river you will find small taverns where you can enjoy the Greek and international cuisine. The fine sand beach invites you to go swimming, whereby the sea here is crystal clear and hardly contains any salt thanks to the backwater of the river, not only the children will like this. **FUERSIE2010**

Newly built house directly at the beach (300 m). Ideal for families or those travelling together. Outside of the main city about 800m, here you will find rest and relaxation. The house was completed in May 2009 and is up to date in regards to heat insulation, installations and electric equipment. The bedrooms have enough cabinets (including clothes hangers), ironing board and iron, bedsheets, blankets, 2 bathrooms with shower cabins, hair dryer, mirror, towels, kitchen with dishes, utensils, glasses, pots and pans. Living room: flat screen TV, SAT TV with all European programs except encrypted channels, stereo system and a lot more so that you don't have to bring anything with you form home except for your beach towels. Every morning the baker comes to the house and brings fresh bread. The vegetable vendor comes every second day. Of course, you, just like the tenant of the Aspri Villa holiday apartments, can participate in all activities or simply do nothing.

Wir kommen nun schon 8 Jahre zwei mal im Jahr nach Ammoudia. Davon waren wir die letzten 4 Jahre bei Uwe und Birtgit. Es ist immer ein Erlebnis der Extraklasse. Ob tauchen oder Livemusik, alles ist möglich. Wer einen super Urlaub verbringen möchte ist hier richtig. Hier ist noch das ursprüngliche Griechenland, keine vollen Strände, kein kampf um eine Liege am Strand und super nette Menschen die fast alle Deutsch sprechen. Die Wohnungen sind vom feisten, alles super. Machen Sie mal einen Ausflug mit Uwe´s Jacht zur Insel Paxos. Seit vielen Jahren immer wieder ein Erlebnis. Ein Erlebnis das man nie vergessen wird. Vielen Dank an Euch für die tollen Tage.

Im Juni 2010 wurde das 2. Ferienhaus fertig gestellt. Die Ausstattung, Küche etc. ist modern und ausgezeichnet. Die Betreuung durch die Vermieter ist sehr gut! Die Ferienhäuser sind relativ eng zusammengebaut. Die Umgebung des Hauses ist griechisch und noch verbesserungswürdig. Im Ort gibt es sehr gute und preisgünstige Tavernen. Der Stand ist mit feinem Sand. Mit einem eigenen Auto kann man die schöne und interessante Umgebung erforschen (Parga, Preveza, Lefkas etc.). Eine Schifffahrt am Fluss Acheron, Besuch der Quellen, sowie Besichtigung des Nakryomanteion ist Pflicht und sehr interessant. Alles in Allem ein angenehmer Urlaub für ältere Leute.

Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway.

Wir kommen schon sehr viele Jahre nach Ammoudia. Doch wer einen perfekten Urlaub erleben will, sollte ihn unbedingt in der Aspri Villa verbringen, bzw. im neuen Ferienhaus. Das Haus wurde ganz neu gebaut und ist für eine Großfamilie bzw. für 2 befreundete Familie ideal. Das Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Aber auch die Freizeitmöglichkeiten die bei Uwe und Birgit angeboten werden, lassen keine Wünsche offen und man erlebt das ürsprüngliche Griechenland. Uwes Motto: Alles geht, keiner muss! Man erlebt hier Dinge, die man sonst bei einer Pauschalreise in irgendeinem Hotel nie erleben würde.
