Why the Owner Chose Bass River
My family rented Cape Cod Cottages for may years and decided that the time was right to build a house. We found land within a short walk to the beach and it was a no brainer from there. We wanted everything in a house that we never had when we rented. Clean, a lot of hot water when taking showers, a washer and dryer that worked, no musty old smell, no gas smell, 2 minute walk to the beach, big back yard with room to entertain and play, relaxing, music piped in throughout the house, plenty of beach stuff chairs umbrellas etc. So we put that all in and more.
The Unique Benefits of this House
You will not have to drive once your at this house. Many beaches (several public and private Nantucket sound beaches within walking distance of the house). Family restaurants within walking distance. Beach bars, para sailing, banana boat rides, wave runner rentals. You can lock the car and walk to most things in this area. You can sleep in the hammock or play games on a clean grassy back yard. Bocci, horse shoe toss or just cook out on the grill. Seating for 20 in the back yard for 8 in the house. Surround sound home theatre in family room. Just come in and enjoy your vacation.
