Enjoy your stay in a lower unit two bedroom/two bathroom oceanfront rental on the Newport Peninsula. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, private bathroom & plenty of closet space. The second bedroom has two twin beds which accommodate 2 people and the living room has travertine floors, and a queen sofa bed that can sleep 2 people.
You will be right on the boardwalk and beach, and walking or biking distance from the historic Newport Pier, Balboa Fun Zone and Lido Island. We are also conveniently close to a grocery store, bike rentals, entertainment, shops and a variety of restaurants and cafes.
"People watch" from the patio, take a short walk to the pier, bike ride down the boardwalk, or get in an early morning surf session. Or if you feel more ambitious, you can rent boats, take a day trip to Catalina, charter a fishing boat, book a whale watching tour or do some shopping on Balboa Island.
Disneyland, Knott’s Berry Farm, South Coast Plaza, and Fashion Island are just 20 minutes away. Other attractions include: Universal Studios Hollywood, Sea World, Legoland, Laguna Beach, and much, much, more.
Just 15 minutes from Santa Ana/Orange County Airport (SNA) and 50 minutes south of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

Perfect location, clean and comfortable unit

My husband, 18-month old and I stayed here in August and had an amazing time. First off, I like to stay at nice hotels and this was the first time we had tried out a home rental. Having a toddler really created the need to have a kitchen, living area and separate bedrooms not provided in a hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the unit. The linens that were provided were of nice quality and again - everything was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed while we were there. The best part about this unit is the location. You have an unobstructed view of the beach and while it is within a very short walk to restaurants, ice cream shops, bike rentals stores, parks, the pier and grocery store - it is far enough from the pier to where it is a little quieter and calmer. We loved sitting out on the patio and watching people play on the beach, ride their bikes, run, etc. We even saw a celebrity and his wife walk right in front of us while sitting on the patio. A fun added bonus. The owners are very nice and were quick to respond to any questions we had. Would recommend this unit and will definitely choose it for our next Newport Beach vacation.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

My family has been renting beach houses in Newport for 16 years and this property is our new favorite! The location is perfect for walking to the Newport Pier to grab a fresh donut for breakfast or buy something fun to wear at one of the many stores. The waves and beach are perfect for swimming, surfing and body boarding. The condo is clean and bright inside. I really like the added touch of not having to bring your own linens and there are 2 TV's. The owners are lovely and easy to work with. I have recommened this house to my friend who has smaller children and it was perfect for them. We will be comig back here for many years to come.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
