  Rassie and I, as well as the kids, had a wonderful time. This place is so warm and inviting and in the best location. Not far from town and yet you get a real feeling of solitude from being up on the mountain. Oh, we sure wish we could be at Shadow Wood for Christmas. Thank you for your generosity and providing us with the time to spend with our family. We love you guys.

  The cabin was more than we expected. It was very clean, roomy and had all the conveniences of home. The gameroom was awesome, when it was raining and we were unable to explore the National Park the gameroom kept everyone entertained for hours. The cabin was the perfect location, private but conveniently located to all the major attractions in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the National Park. We will definitely reommend the cabin to our freinds and family. Two thumbs up !!

  Recommended for: People with disabilities, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers.

  My wife and I stayed here on our 1year anniversary and had a really great time. The cabin is really nice with plenty of room. The hot tub was exceptionally nice after a long walk through Gatlinburg. The cabin was only about a 15 minute drive to the main strip in pigeon forge which was really good!! So, this place is really clean and I highly recommend staying here whether its a family vacation or just a couples getaway!!"

  Hey Kathy, just wanted to let you know our stay at your cabin was wonderful! My husband and sons played pool every time we got still. We spent more time at the cabin this trip than we usually do, and we enjoyed that. We enjoyed the hot tub late on Saturday night and got a surprise visit from a good size raccoon that wanted to visit the garbage can. Being avid hunters my family really enjoyed the visit and just watching him watch us as he went back and forth down into the can. The cabin is lovely and very comfortable. The beds slept really well, and I had everything I needed to cook breakfast each morning. Thank you so much for everything.

  My family and I felt right at home. The kids asked why we couldn't move to the cabin?? ;-) When arrived the road was covered with snow. The cabin was very clean and cozy. Everything we needed and more was available. The views are unbelievable. The rental process was great. The owners are very lovely. They provide you with information ahead of activities to plan for. Being in the cabin was very peaceful. There are not words to express how wonderful it was to stay there. We can't wait to return and escape from the real world. Thank you

  We had a lovely stay at Shadow Wood the first of April. Arrived to sunshine and trees budding! Everything in the cabin was fantastic, just as portrayed on the website. The cabin is more secluded than most in the area and has everything you need for your time away from home. The kids loved the games in the basement and the hot tub! The quick drive to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg is beautiful. It was great to come home to such a quiet cabin after being in the busy towns. Thanks for letting us stay at your special place! It was so daunting trying to pick a place online with all of the options out there... I am soooo glad we found Shadow Woods, it was just what we needed!

  Spent Valentine's Day at Greg and Kathy's cabin. Everything listed on the internet and told to me by Greg was accurate. The cabin is private, but close to the road. Very easy to find and the roads were very good. We had have a very lovely time. We watched Sleepless in Seattle and ate chocolate covered strawberries from the "Candy Kitchen" in Pigeon Forge. The gas fireplace kept us toasty. We hope to bring the family back soon. Blessings, Nancy & William

  Very secluded and romantic cabin. Away from the city.Cabin is beatiful inside and the pictures are a extra touch.Relaxing in the hot tub after hiking was wonderful.
