We had a lovely kick-back week. Thank you for sharing your home -- it was perfect! And thank you for the fig cake. A pleasant and delicious surprise! I especially appreciate your orchard tree map! Being an inquisitive gardener and arborist, I was stumped by several trees so was delighted to find the map.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

I found The Orchard a very nice experience. Plenty of room, comfortable beds, very clean and had everything & more than we needed. Your yard is beautifully done & we enjoyed the privacy it afforded. I will recommend your home to others. Thank you. (The fig cake was wonderful with our coffee in the A.M.)Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

The Orchard was a fabulous getaway for us over the Presiden'ts Day weekend (February 2013). Living up by Salt Lake City, we were tired of the snow and the inversion and were looking for a place to stay in Southern Utah. Robert and Jane were easy to contact and very accommodating as we made arrangements. LaVerkin was the perfect spot to stay while spending a few days in Zion's National Park. After long days of hiking and sightseeing, we loved coming "home" to the amazing views of the sunset and the well-equipped kitchen. We made some fabulous meals and relaxed in the hot tub every evening. The house was clean and away from too many people and we loved every minute of our stay. Thanks Robert & Jane! We'll be back again next winter, I'm sure!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Hey, hey!! Robert and Jane. First time at "The Orchard" and it was a great one. Beautiful house and very nice touch with the hot tub. Hope to be coming back here every year to Zion National Park and would thoroughly enjoy staying here for each of them. Also first time repelling (sic) which I believe I have become addicted to. Hopefully next year the weather is just a touch better but that makes the adventure that much better. Thank you again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Great place. Three days at Zion was awesome, one day at Bryce. We went from palm trees to snow, saw lots of wild life and I think I will get some paintings from Utah. Take every new road you and find, there are great ones out here. This is the perfect time, we did not need the swamp cooler or heat.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

The house worked out great. Plenty of room for grandparents, mom & dad and the twin boys to roam and play. The ginger peach bread & jellies were delicious and greatly appreciated. It was very nice meeting Jane when she stopped by. She showed us what to do with the pistachio peeling & roasting them. The pomegranate was also really quite sweet, much better than we get in our supermarket. We would also like to thank Robert for all the preliminary communications. It was all extremely helpful. Thanks to both of you. Our stay in your house had everything needed to have a comfortable & enjoyable stay. Many thanks.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

About the owner: We've been coming to Southern Utah regularly since 1996 and we just love it. We've traveled across the the U.S. and Overseas and it is hard to find anything as beautiful as this area. We bought our place in 2005 and spent a lot of time and effort turning it into a unique, one-of-a-kind getaway in the middle of a peaceful boutique orchard. (As of July 2009, our fruit is served in fine cuisine at the Las Vegas restaurants of Mario Batali, one of the world's great chefs.) Everyone who has visited The Orchard loves it and hates leaving. And isn't that the point of a vacation, to fall in love with your surroundings? We go out of our way to ensure that our guests have a terrific experience including little things like providing complimentary jars of exquisite jam made from our organic apricots, figs and other fruit. Come to Southern Utah. Relax at The Orchard. We're confident you'll love it as much as we do!
