Enjoy your next vacation in the beautiful white mountains! This is the perfect place to relax and get away from the craziness of life. It’s just simple living - sitting on the 1,000 sq. ft. deck watching the birds and waiting to see if you catch a glimpse of the deer or elk that cross through the acre of ponderosa pines.
This newly remodeled mountain getaway has 4 bedrooms and a loft. The main level includes the master bedroom with a king bed and a full bath, and a second bedroom with a queen bed and ½ bath. This room is also set up with a crib for families with little ones. This is a kid-friendly rental, with toys, highchair, crib/bedding and a pack'n play/bedding. If there is anything else you require, please ask, we may have it available for your use. The upstairs includes a loft with a full-sized futon, a bunk room for the kids with 2 sets of bunk beds (4 beds) and another bedroom with a queen bed. There is also a full bath upstairs.
The wall of windows in the family room offers amazing views of the heavily treed yard. There is a 56” HD DLP TV with DirectTV and DVD player, along with a new leather sectional for your enjoyment. In addition, feel free to use the woodstove to make s'mores or simply enjoy a crackling fire. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of space to feed a large family.
If you are looking to get out and explore, there are plenty of things to do in the area. There are many shops and restaurants to enjoy. The nearby Pine Meadows Country Club offers a 9-hole golf course and restaurant. The well-known Bison Ranch has restaurants, shopping and horseback riding. Not to mention the nearby forest trails and lakes for fishing, hiking and exploring on your ATVs.

We relocated to Arizona in 2000 and absolutely love it here! We have 3 young children and enjoy getting out and exploring with them. There are so many different things to do in this awesome state.
Why the Owner Chose Overgaard
We chose the White Mountains because it is only a 2.5 hr drive from Phoenix and we wanted to be able to experience the different seasons with our kids. Overgaard sits at 6700 ft. elevation, providing snow in the winter and temps 25 degrees cooler than the valley in the summer. Overgaard also offers plenty of great restaurants and other activities and is only 45 mins from Show Low or an hour from Payson, where there are even more restaurants, shops & theatres.

Our cabin is located on over an acre of ponderosa pines, in a quiet and relaxing neighborhood. You can enjoy the peaceful outdoors, and yet be close enough to restaurants, shopping, golf, parks and hiking.
