We have just completed a floor to ceiling renovation of this beautiful large one-bedroom apartment located in the courtyard of a 15th century building in the heart of the most trendy area of Paris.

The Montorgueil area is the most hip and trendy area in Paris right now! It is a lively neighborhood that offers more restaurants and cafes than you will ever enjoy and that will provide the most Parisian experience you can ever dream of. Rue Montmartre is a pedestrian street lined up with designer shops one after the other, bakeries, gourmet shops, cafes and restaurants. It is next to the quintessential market street Rue de Montorgueil where you will enjoy your morning croissant or a late cap. Not only that but it is walking distance from many sightseeings such as Le Louvre (10 minutes), Centre George Pompidou (Museum of Modern Art, theater and public library - 7 minutes), Eglise St Eustache (5 minutes), Place des Victoires (5 minutes) etc..
And of course, the area is full of live theaters including the most famous Theatre du Chatelet and Theatre de la Ville that host most of the major theater and contemporary dance performances in town.

We could not have been happier with this rental for our stay in Paris. The apartment has amazing high ceilings and windows. The lofted bedroom was a great use of space, over a very nice, spacious bathroom. Modern and clean, with very cool, creative light fixtures. An inspiring space for the aesthetically minded traveler. The location is as central as it gets, and is surrounded by great shopping and every kind of specialty food store you can imagine: cheese, wine, fresh produce, seafood, etc. The immediate surroundings are mostly pedestrian, which makes coming and going very pleasant. I highly recommend this apartment and would definitely return.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
