(The house sleeps up to four people) The house is 1000 sqft, it is non smoking and it has two queen beds, 2 baths and is centrally located in a working class, quiet, family neighborhood on the east side town of Kapaa (no parties or loud noise please). My wife and I live in the front main house along with our 7 yr old daughter and 4 year old son.
The house is about 15-20 minutes from Lihue Airport, in the main eastside town of Kapaa. The house is 30 minutes from the North shore, and 35 minutes from the South shore, and about 2 miles from the beach of Kealia. Close by are Safeway, Blockbuster, Foodland, Starbucks, Longs, and lots of other stores. If you would like to see the whole island, this is a great location for you. There is a parking spot provided for free.
If you have any questions about weather, activities, places to see, etc., just email I personally run, clean and operate the house, so I can keep prices low. I've fished, dived, hiked, hunted, and seen most of this beautiful island; so I can help with plans, just ask.
I don't require a cleaning fee or security deposit. Just have fun and respect the place. I am willing to work a trade out if you have a place on Oahu, Kona, or Maui.

We stayed here during the first week of October and couldn't have asked for a better homebase to explore this phenomenal island. The house is comfortable, well-maintained, and provided everything we needed during our stay. The kitchen is a plus, as were all the goodies Scotty let us use (snorkels, masks, fins, coolers). Kauai is a must-visit island and we will be back. And we will make this place our homebase once again! Thanks for providing a comfortable spot for a smoking deal - we will happily recommend you to folks we know.

We had an amazing time at this little property,we loved the coziness of it it's like being on vacation at home if that makes sense.Do not let the low price fool you,its an amazing deal,and cleaner and more well maintained than any hotel could be,We relly liked being up on the hill and away from the hubub(not that there's a lot of hubub on Kauai)My Fiance and I enjoyed every minute of it,and Scott provided everything we needed,including snorkels,boogie boards,,,etc,and was there when we needed something,and invisible when we didn't.Great food reccomendations,especially if you are on a budget,but definitely splurge once and go to Dukes at The Marriot,we went on my birthday,and had a great dinner,Hula pie and all!This property is amazing,we couldn't have asked for more,oh and Scott has all kinds of historical stuff,and a copy of every movie made on Kauai,which we thought was a great touch.You cant go wrong here,especially with the central location yo everything,have a great trip Aloha-Emery and Andy

Don't let the low price fool you -- this is the deal of the century. We just got back from a week-long trip, a friend and I shared the place -- it is close to everything and yet in a residential neighborhood so very very quiet -- in fact couldn't even hear the ubiquitous Kauai roosters crowing!...Scotty and Nadine are great -- ready with info if you need but you hardly see them otherwise. Kitchen was great, also snorkel gear, boogie boards, beach chairs and mats available for your use. Book your trip with them now -- I'm not kidding -- you won't believe how perfect this place is and the price is a bonus!

For vacationers looking for value and convenience, this is the place. This two bedroom-two bathroom cottage is spacious and practical for travelers who want to explore & sightsee this beautiful island. Located in Kapaa, it is nearly half-way between Princeville and Poipu, the two major areas of attraction. Scott provides very handy day use beach stuff and invaluable advice on where to eat, do and see. The money I saved sleeping here nearly paid for all the adventure activities. James

I would higly recommed this place to everyone. My cousin and I stayed at this rental last October 2009 and we had a wonderful experience. The condo is very well kept, clean, and remodelled. I am very particular about finding a clean place and this place was perfect. The couple who owns it are fantastic, very friendly and very open with sharing tips and places to visit on the island. The whole experience of staying at this rental made my first trip to Kauai an absolute wonderful experience. Yes I would stay here again, I would rent this place if I lived in Kaui..

Stayed here for a week in January 2010 and it was a great deal for the price. Scotty had great instructions for hikes, great food and some neat sights. The BBQ, washer and dryer, boogie boards, coolers, beach chairs and flippers were all nice bonus items! Of course I had to do the puzzle that was in the TV unit and we had a little too much fun with the crazy 'beat bop' game! I really enjoyed this place, the kitchen was really big and the bedroms were quite large. It was basically like having our own house in Hawaii!! The location was great for exploring either the north or south/west coasts and I'd definately stay here again if visiting Kauai. Awesome for a family!
