We have been renting homes in this area for several years - the view from this Cottage is nothing short of spectacular. The Mackinaw bridge is so close and Mackinaw City was visable across the lake. Freighters, sporting boats, sailboats, and ferries could all be seen. The firework display from Mackinaw City was fantastic and even though it started to rain - they could be seen clearly and comfortably from the partially covered deck. We enjoyed swimming (bring your water shoes) and a few campfires. All of this, and yet felt very private. When the weather wasn't the best, there is still so much to do. If you enjoy cooking - this kitchen lacks nothing. Gourmet meals were a cinch to prepare. This home is immaculate and extremely comfortable, we couldn't have asked for anything more. The caretaker was available for any questions or concerns. This home is definitely a "10" - hope you enjoy it as much as we did.
Owner response:It's great to hear from guests and to know that they are having a blast at the cottage. We don't get there anywhere near as much as we'd like to ourselves, so we have to live vicariously! St. Ignace is really is a jewel, and we love our prime spot overlooking the Mackinac Bridge. It's a pleasure to share it with our guests.
