Here is the perfect location for your family vacation or a couple’s getaway. Pearly Pond offers all of your favorite outdoor activities. Choose from swimming, canoeing (kayaking), hiking, mountain biking or fishing. If you’re more into relaxing, just stretch out on the deck with your favorite beverage or hang out on your own private beach. The beach is sandy and safe for young children.
We offer you a nice clean cottage with 75 feet of sandy beach. The deck stairs come right down to the water’s edge. There is a well-equipped kitchen for your convenience and many fine restaurants in the area if you prefer to go out. The Market Basket store is only 2.5 miles away and there is also a Hannaford’s/Wal-Mart just 1 mile further in the same direction. Sorry but this cottage is not handicapped accessible due to stairs.
Mount Monadnock offers some wonderful hiking trails with spectacular views and there are many other walking, hiking and biking trails in the area. The scenic Monadnock Branch Rail-Trail travels for just over 7 miles from Webster Street in Jaffrey near the ball field to the New Hampshire–Massachusetts border. From Jaffrey to Rindge the trail is paved and includes signage and beautiful views of ponds and wetlands. From Rindge toward Massachusetts the trail is still undeveloped and is mostly packed gravel and sand, with some railroad ties still in place.
We are now booking for the 2012 season. Off-season rates are $700 per week or $150 per night (2 night minimum) and summer rates are $1000 per week (full week only).Pre-payment 2 weeks in advance by check of a refundable $300 ($200 off-season) security deposit to hold reservations.

Sorry, I meant to write earlier, but I've been so busy unpacking and doing laundry. We loved your cottage--we had a great time, relaxing on the deck, playing in the water, grilling, and otherwise just enjoying ourselves. It so nice and private there, we just love it. We look forward to seeing you next year! Gail, Jim, Justin and Ben

Hello Jim and Roberta, We did have a very nice time. I only wish the little ones could have stayed longer. They really enjoyed the sandy beach area. They made sand castles for three days. My husband caught a large bass earlier in the week. He and I caught a few perch. He claims he had a real big one that bent his hook and got away (it was an amazing fish story, no witnesses). Thank you for sharing the cottage. Carl and Charlotte

Hi Jim, No problem on keeping it clean, the wife has a habit of picking up. LOL! We had a good week, it was relaxing and quiet. The fishing was good, used the boat several times every day and had some luck with the bass at night. Maybe again next summer we'll do it again! Enjoy the warm weather- Thanks, Steve and Melissa

Hi Jim and Roberta, Fritz and I had a wonderful time this weekend! The cottage was great and we will definitely use it again. I just wish the weather would have been better because we would have liked to enjoy the outside just alittle bit. But it sure was nice just having to drive around the lake to watch the games rather than the drive from Keene. It really worked out great. Isaac had a great tournament even though they lost the championship game 5-4 in the 10th inning. We were hoping they would win so they would be hosting regionals but now they play at Yale this week. I hear that the area is not very nice around the school. No little cottage to stay in there! Thank you again. Jamie and Fritz

Hi Jim - We got home yesterday afternoon. Yes, the weather was fantastic Monday and Tuesday. A little chilly yesterday, but still nice. We had a great time. Thanks. We'd be interested in renting again from you at some point in the future. I'll keep your contact information handy and we'll be in touch. Robin

Hi Jim and Roberta, I'm so sorry that you hadn't already seen a thank you message from us! My (Greg's) workload exploded over the weekend, so we've been buried since coming back from a much more serene place. :-) We had a great time at Pearly Lake and really lucked out with the weather. You have a great little hide-away in Ridge and thank you very much for allowing us to share in the joy of staying there for a short while.

Hi Mr & Mrs Hackett: It was nice to meet with you and thank you for showing us the place. We had a wonderful week, couldn't of had any better weather. We loved your place, what a find! It worked out very well and we all relaxed and had fun and even the Chihuahua got his feet wet! Our labs loved the water too and I think Jake would have slept on the beach if we let him! I hope the place was left ok, we did break two glasses in the sink, not used to the porcelain, so please take that out of our security deposit. I hope we can come back next year if you continue to rent. We really did enjoy it there and the fishing was very good....I even caught about 15 one morning....our record so far. Thank you again! Hope you enjoy the pictures! Inga and Family

Hi Jim, Right after you left, Eryk caught a 3 to 5 pound bass under the trees to the right. We also caught some pickerel and kibby's. We did get practice time in every day as well as hiking and mountain biking. The trail at the end of the road connects to Franklin Pierce collage and was a great mountain bike ride. Thank you very much for the use of your cottage we had an excellent time. Glenn and Helen

James- Sorry its taken me so long to get back to you, I was playing catch-up last week. We really did have a great visit. We felt like we won the weather lottery, it was such a great week weather-wise. We did not see the blue heron in the water though I did see it fly over. We did see an oriole in the trees by the deck one morning. He was very pretty. I got your check, thanks very much. And please feel free to pass along our info as a referral. We had a great week and we would definitely like to come back next year. I may also have a referral for you for next year. I showed a friend of mine pictures of the lake and she was thinking it might be good for her family. Enjoy the rest of your summer - hopefully you can enjoy some time at Pearly Lake. -Sarah
