Located on a beautiful red sand beach, with panoramic views of the Northumberland Strait and the Confederation Bridge and just a scenic 10 minute drive from the city of Summerside and all of its amenities.
This newly completed(June 2009)house features a living area with vaulted ceiling and floor to ceiling windows for incredible ocean views. Huge deck runs the entire width of the house with access from the living room and master suite. Master suite features a walk-in closet and jetted tub. All three bedrooms are equipped with queen size beds, and LCD flat screen TV's with satellite receivers. Living area has a gas fireplace and 50 inch plasma TV with DVD player and satellite receiver.
The house is equipped with central air-conditioning, and heated by a geo-thermal heat pump

My husband and I along with our two sons and their spouses spent a week in PEI. This house was perfect for us. It is beautifully finished and has everything you could possibly need. The location is beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed the beach as much as the house, just right for a family or a romantic getaway.

We stayed at mason Cottage in Sept 2011. Magnificiant stay, couldn't ask for more. Gorgeous house, great location, close to everything. Our little one really enjoyed the beach which is only steps away. This home has everything you need and more. We where very sad to leave the the end of our vacation. Will definatly be renting again if we return to PEI for our summer vacation next year.

Susan and Jeff, Your home is magical. Thank you for sharing it with us. Our kids (and Danielle and I!) got to see things that we've never seen before. It was VERY hard to come home! You spared absolutely no expense in your home-- all is beautiful-- and so very convenient. We were all over the Island-- Cavendish, Charlottetown, North Cape, East Point, Summerside, Argyle-- and that's just off the top of my head! PEI is a very special place. One problem: an extremely high bar has been set for vacations. It will be hard to find locations and housing that will surpass this one! We had the pleasure of staying at the "Mason Cottage" for 2 weeks in July. The home was so lovely, clean and upscale. Floor plan is very open with views of the water from both front and back windows. With the pull out futon in the study I think the home would easily sleep 8. The beach was only steps away from the huge deck and the kids had a blast collecting hermit crabs during low tide and wading in the warm water when the tide was high. If you are used to a high end home and would like the same for your vacation, you will be thrilled with this beautiful home! Thanks again Jeff and Susan for sharing your home with us! We'll be back again...

This is a beautiful well equipped home situated in a secluded and private spot. The house is very well laid out and is a pleasure to spend time in. Our vacation there was in November, not a traditional vacation time for PEI, but the privacy and beautiful setting made for a lovely vacation.

This is an excellent beach front property and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was absolutely perfect and we definitely plan on staying there again sometime in the not too distant future. We highly recommend this property if it is the type of accommodation that you are looking for!

Hand on Heart, this has been one of the lovliest properties we have stayed at. The house was extremely well furnished and very comfortable. If anyone is planning a visit to Summerside or the surrounding area, do not hesitate to stay at the home in Sunbury Cove.
