For the second time, we spent the month of February in our favorite house in Palm Springs. The owners obviously take pride in their rental property because everything remained in top shape from the landscaping to the well-equipped kitchen to the wonderful pool area. If you are looking for a quiet neighborhood that is close enough to everything, and want privacy without association rules....this house is for you. We know it's for us, a third time, next winter.

Wonderful Spring Vacation

The house was perfect, exactly as described with every amenity a vacationer from out of state could possibly need. The house was immaculate; it was hard to decide whether to explore the near-by attractions or just stay at the house and enjoy what it had to offer, including the magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. We did both! It was a real kick to learn that the house was designed by Don Wexler whose work was the subject of a big exhibit at the Palm Springs Art museum that we enjoyed very much. I would recommend this property without any hesitation.

Affordable Top-Notch Mid-Century Architectural Home

We stayed as a family of four at this home for an extended period and found it to be both practical and aesthetically charming. Having rented several times in the past for short periods in Vista Las Palmas, and having owned a Wexler home myself, I had been looking for classic Wexler design and the kind of quality normally associated with Las Palmas - but without the price tag. I found it! This home compares favorably with any I have rented in Palm Springs and is considerably better maintained to boot! The design is the classic mid-century Wexler layout with the kitchen opening to the living room without impinging on it. The bedrooms are a good size - though by no means suites. Each has a sitting area for privacy and enjoys shade at different times of the day. The pool and spa area was flawless. I had never been one for barbecues, but the built in area in the yard made a convert of me. We enjoyed beautiful sunset dinners. The neighborhood seemed quiet and friendly and the house is set back from any major roads. Most importantly, the property manager was responsive and attentive. This home is clearly loved by its owners. Elsewhere I have felt that a property was being rented with the minimum of effort, whereas here it was clear that the owners take pride not only in their home, but in being conscientious and responsible landlords. For nearly three months their home was mine and I loved every minute. I really could not fault the place at all.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

Well, what can we say. We want this place as our own! Another trip to Palm Springs and another wonderful week spent at this beautiful house. The standard of this accommodation should be experienced without fail. A few changes since last year add to the comfort and experience. New luxury shower screens since last year and along with wireless internet, the owners have also provided printing facilities enabling online check-in for your flight home, very convenient. The gardens are maturing very nicely. The owners are very easy and accommodating to deal with. We'll be back!

A Real Gem

We were recently retired and wanted to get out of New Jersey for the cold month of February. We felt so happy and lucky when we found this gem of a house and rented it for the month. As good as it looked in the photos, it was better in real life. It is a perfect size for two people with plenty of room for company on the weekends. It is a comfortable house with all the accoutrements one needs for a great stay in Palm Springs. The owner is honest and very easy to work with. We loved it so much we are going back when winter arrives in ’11.

Having not been to Palm Springs previously, we looked extensively to locate the perfect vacation rental property. When we found modernrentalpalmsprings, the search was over. The property is nothing short of spectacular – we fell in love with the home immediately, and the photos certainly do not do it justice. This was by far one of the most relaxing and enjoyable vacations I have ever taken, largely attributed to the luxurious atmosphere at this home. Every imaginable amenity is provided and no expense was spared when the owner furnished the property - you’ll feel like you’ve checked into the Four Seasons. Both inside and out, the home is impeccably maintained and extremely well-appointed. The owner and property manager both went out of their way to ensure that our stay was well beyond our expectations. We will definitely be back later this year, and would highly recommend this magnificent property to anyone looking for an incredibly relaxing Palm Springs vacation.

I have been going to PS for many years and this is the best place I have ever rented. The house was loaded with amenities. The pool, hot tub, firepit, grill, w&d. all were awesome. The beds were super comfortable and the bathrooms great. I brought my parents out and my Mom still hasn't stopped talking about the place. Ric and Joe were so easy to deal with. You could really bring some clothes and a toothbrush and completely relax it up out there.

This place is amazing!!!! The pictures do not do the house justice. My fiance and some friends stayed here for New Years weekend. The house is so modern,clean,beautiful, and great location! I will be recommending this place to my family and friends. Anytime I am planning a trip to Palm Springs, I will be checking to see if this place is available! Joe and Ric were really helpful. We first vacationed in Palm Springs about 2 years ago and knew we had found our getaway for the times when our everyday lives needed to take a back seat for the weekend. We researched many of the great resorts around the area and chose a different one to stay in each time we would visit. While resort accommodations are nice we thought it would be nice to stay in a more private space, a true getaway. Therefore, we looked into private home rentals to see what was available. Combing through the many options, we checked out a few and while nice, they did not have that great Palm Springs vibe that we so enjoy. Then we found modernrentalpalmsprings We booked 4 days to check it out and had no idea what we were in for. Excited and ready to spend a long weekend away in a private space we headed for the Springs. We arrived in the evening and were amazed how beautiful this place was just driving up. Meticulously landscaped and lit, it is so very sophisticated we knew this place was special. We entered the front door and it was love at first sight. Amazing white porcelain floors, floor to ceiling windows across the back of the house that looked out on to the huge, again beautifully maintained private yard with the aqua blue glow of the pool staring back at us. The place was furnished in the best of taste and every detail has been thoughtfully decided to make this place feel like a home away from home. Nothing has been overlooked. We spent that evening in the saltwater pool and soaking in the hot tub under the stars it was perfection. In the morning the home was flooded with light and is the epitome of posh Palm Springs living. Every amenity you can think of has been carefully implemented, from the fully stocked kitchen ready for you to step into and prepare the perfect meal, to the plush towels and crisp sheets on the beds. This place has it all. There are laundry facilities and for you TV buffs large flat screens for your viewing pleasure and if you are like us an ipod dock to listen to your favorite tunes while lounging by the pool. We have booked more weekends here in the coming months and we highly suggest you do the same. You will not be disappointed. Kudos to the owners for an amazing job well done! My partner and I have visited Palm Springs many times over the years and decided on this trip to indulge ourselves in some added freedom and in particular luxury. We hunted high and low for a rental property for our vacation and found this one. We were seriously surprised with our findings; the house is in a very nice quiet area, set within a fair sized plot of land, which provides for the added feeling of space and comfort. We were lucky enough to have rented whilst the owners were in town and were met at the property by them. They explained how everything worked, where everything was located and even provided us with a welcome bottle of wine. Having left us to it, we began to explore the house and were amazed by the quality of every detail, West Elm furniture and bedding, some very fluffy luxury bath towels and high quality shower and hair products. Everything you can think of has been catered for in this property. Outside, the pool was immaculately maintained, with a twice-weekly pool cleaning service and the gardens were cared for again by a twice-weekly gardener visit. This really was a home from home with all the facilities and comforts one would expect to find in their dream home. We will definitely be returning to this heavenly property.
