Introducing your new vacation spot in Northern Wisconsin. Eagles Nest is only 30 minutes South of Minocqua & 40 minutes North of Wausau, yet far enough for the peace & quiet Lake of Nokomis.
Cabin: Please note this is a 3 level cabin set up as a duplex. We are only offering the lower level for rent which has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, a fully stocked kitchen, Gas Fireplace, living room with TV/Stereo/DVD entertainment system, dining area, patio with gas grill, and the ability to sleep up to 8 people with a pull out sofa and ottoman.
Equipped with a row boat, with four life jackets, an outdoor gas grill & a fire pit. Patio doors to lakefront.

The Lake is on a flowage and the lake goes up and down quite a bit. There are times that the lake in front is not high enough to get a boat through.
Amenities: Fantastic fishing & snowmobiling right from the front door.
Walking & biking trails nearby as well as an 18 hole golf course. (Inshalla Country Club). Hospital and clinics, movie theatre, water shows, bait shops, Supermarkets, Churches all within 10-15 minutes drive.
Vacation rental is available year round. Weekly rentals Saturday to Saturday, or as planned.
Check in time is 1:00 P.M. Check out time is 11:00 A.M.
$695/week, up to 4 guests. Extra guests, $15/guest per night.
2 night minimum. Up to four guests, $95/night.
Seasonal prices subject to change.
A $50 cleaning fee is charged for stays of 2 to 6 nights , call or email to make reservations.

Really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Three adult couples had plenty of room to sleep. Lower half of house is rented out and is modern and clean. Great fire pit and easy access to beautiful lake.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Nice property. Very comfortable and in excellent condition. Owners were onsite and very pleasant! We had 3 adults and one child and had plenty of room. The property is located in a beautiful area on the lake. Nicely set up for families with children.
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children.

My wife and I pulled up to Hwy N and followed our directions until we hit a sign that said private road, once we realized that this private road was the one to the cabin, we were really excited. Arriving at the home and looking out over the water that was up to the dock, we knew we were in the right place. We entered the lower part of the home; where we were surprised at the roominess and overall comforts. There were two bedrooms with very comfortable beds and a very clean and spacious bathroom. The kitchen which is attached to the living room area was very easy to get around in and very well stocked to make it a wonderful place to get away to. The dish network on the TV was somewhat confusing for us since we don't travel the TV channels very often when on vacation. Then we took some time at night to enjoy the outside fire pit which allowed us to truly enjoy the specific beauty that this location gave us. We experienced very few bugs and the fishing of the dock was quite fun and would be a great place to allow new people to fishing to catch something right away. Right from the dock, we caught blue gill, sun fish, perch, bass and some pike, we were truly having fun. Some friends of ours knew the lake area and were able to bring their boat right to us and we traveled to about 4 different lakes. The fishing was great and we saw many people enjoying some skiing and tubing as well. Stores and restaurants are easily reached by boat or car and Kracker Barrel gas station has everything one would need especially bait and information. If you are looking for a place to enjoy the water and be in comfort for sleeping and eating this is the place to come. The price is fantastic and well worth the price! Bill, Kathy, and Heidi made the rental process easy and fun. My wife and I will be back for sure, unless you get there first.
