Completely updated 1500 sq. ft. cottage with gorgeous view of Grandfather Mountain. Located in a Gated Community (Linville Ridge). Fully equipped kitchen with TV's in each BR. CD, DVD and sound system in den.
If you like the mountains in the summer for hiking, biking, fishing, rafting, site seeing, etc., this is the place for you. Snow skiing at multiple locations only a few miles away during the winter months. Many restaurants in the area to choose from as well. Many historic areas to see along with many public golf courses.
See wild turkey roaming around the house as well as the occasional coyote and bear on the mountain.
If you like floral colors and a magnificent fall this is the place for you and your family.

Our family really enjoyed this beautiful home for our annual ski vacation this year. This home is so conveniently located to the ski slopes and many other area attractions. It offered plenty of comfort, space and amenities for a "home away from home feeling". The owner of the property was wonderful to work with, offering plenty of information and personal assistance during the rental process up to the end of our stay and return of the housekeys. I would recommend this home without reservation to anyone wanting to enjoy a true feeling of home. The only small item I would recommend in the home would be some board games and/or playing cards for the 'down time'; otherwise, no other recommendations, as it is very well furnished. We hope to stay in this home again for our future mountain visits.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.

We love Linville Ridge and have come here for years, but this was the first time renting at this cottage. The owner was wonderful to work with and we enjoyed our stay at this well-kept, clean & updated home. We hope to stay again here in future years!Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

My wife and I have now stayed twice at the cottage in July and we have booked for next year. The location is great for any out door activities that you have in mind. There are nearby hiking trails.golf courses,rafting and of course eating out. The cottage is extremly well equiped, clean and well maintained. The owner has been a pleaser to deal with and has always answered all of our questions promptly. We would recommend this place to stay to anyone and we have.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children, age 55+.

My husband and I stayed at this lovely home the entire month of August. It has been updated and is very well kept. This house is located close to the main entry of Linville Ridge, making it convenient to great restaurants, grocery stores and sightseeing. The owner was easy to work with, and this home is very comfortable. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to our friends.Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children, age 55+.
