Bimini, only a 20 minute flight from Ft. Lauderdale, is truly one of the most beautiful of the Bahama out-islands. Mostly undeveloped, miles of uncrowed beaches, Bimini Bay Resort offers everything in a four star resort at a much slower pace.
Our top floor Chonca has two bedrooms, two full baths, vaulted ceilings with fans and three TVs with satellite. There are two balconies, one with a water view of the "Maga Marina", so you can chose to relax in either sun or shade anytime of the day. Located mid-way between the two pools, restaurants and shops it is an easy walk to all of the activities. There is a full service 300 slip marina, bait and tackle, grocery and liquor store on site. There is free inter-net service in the lobby, open 24 hrs., or bring your own lab top for Wi-Fi connection. For more on Bimini Bay check out their web site.
You can charter a boat to go deep sea fishing for Tuna, Sail Fish, and Marlin, or Bone fish right from the beach. Diving and snorkeling sites like " the Lost City of Atlantis" or " Sapona " are great for the whole family. For the kids there is a play ground and game room. You can take lone hikes on the beach looking for shells, play tennis, or rent a golf cart and explore Alice Town and the Straw Marker. After a full day a trip to the Spa, cocktails to watch the dun set, and dinner at one of the three restaurants or pizzas and ice cream.
