A comfortable home on a large lot adjacent to the state park beach access, and just steps from the rocky beach. This duplex offers privacy, convenience, and conviviality for a larger group of friends or family, since it consists of two interconnecting units.
The smaller, one-bedroom, unit is all wood paneled and offers an ocean view from every room. There’s a convertible futon sofa in the living room, and a small kitchenette -- handy for your in-laws, or give your older kids a thrill by letting them have "their own place."
The larger unit will sleep up to eight. The upstairs master bedroom is flooded with light from four skylights, a south-facing picture window with a view of the long sandy beach where the Yachats River runs into the ocean, a west-facing window for watching the sun set over the water, and an east-facing window.
Community Wi-Fi is accessible from this room, there are chairs for lounging, a queen bed, and an en suite toilet. On the same floor is a smaller bedroom with a double bed.
The large living room downstairs has a double sofa-bed and a convertible queen-size futon sofa. There’s also a roomy, well-equipped kitchen; bathroom; and a sunny dining room with a table that seats six.
The two units connect through the utility room with washer and dryer and access to the back deck.
Outside, you can barbecue on the deck or picnic in the oversized yard. Trees and hedges on three sides provide privacy without blocking your view of the ocean.

Why the Owner Chose Yachats
Yachats is out-of-the-way enough to avoid being crowded or trendy but has enough visitors and residents from U of O and OSU to be quite sophisticated. Comfortable but hip.
