PLEASE, first check out our photos! You'll appreciate the beautiful view of palm trees and the bay. Some houses on the canal face only other houses, not ours! There is water, water everywhere you look. The 900 sq foot house is cozy, very clean and comes with many amenities.
"Senter Peace" is located on the first canal (closest to the bay) in Galveston's well-known west end subdivision, Sea Isle. Downstairs we have extended decking with underwater halogen lights and a spot light for day & night fishing. Or, if you prefer, just watch the action as the fish chase around in the lights. They are very attracted to them!
We are one mile from the beach, a perfect distance for a nice stroll or power walk. We are also about a mile from the Sea Isle Marina where there is much going on including a new, restaurant called West End, bar, pool tables, a swimming pool, free boat ramp, tennis courts, convenience store and bar. In addition, there is a bait shop that sells live bait at the Sea Isle marina.There is a wide, new lighted fishing pier in Sea Isle for owners and guests to use day and night. You will have a key as our house guest.
Our immaculate house will sleep 6. All living space is located on the second level. There are 2 bedrooms: one has a King size bed and the other room has a Queen size bed. There is a sleeper sofa in the living area that is double size. Upstairs there is a bath w/ shower. All linens are furnished. Downstairs is a utility room with a second toilet, deep sink for cleaning your catch, shower as well as a nice washer and dryer.
The house has central air and heat, hardwood-like floors throughout, and an all-electric kitchen that comes with basic seasonings, ice maker and plenty of cooking pots, pans, and utensils to prepare complete meals easily.
If you like to crab, we have 2 crab traps for your use, and you'll find a large pot for boiling the crabs you catch. There's an electric grill for pancakes, a coffee maker, blender and crock pot. There's a 42" tv and many cd's should you have time to watch them. Both a Weber gas grill and a traditional charcoal grill/smoker are available for your use. You will need to bring charcoal and/or propane or fill up the tank.
Our requirements are simple: Groups of 6 and under welcome! No pets on the property. No groups with unchaperoned minors. No smoking in the house. We accept personal checks when there is time to deposit. Sorry, no credit cards accepted. On short notice, we require money orders or wire transfers. Our rates are published on this site under "RATES".
If you are interested, please ask for a rental agreement. Once we receive this form which can be completed and faxed back to us, we'll put the house on a courtesy hold for 3 days for receipt of a check.

- The house has underwater halogen lights and a spot light for night fishing. The area has a marina with bait shop, convenience store, great restaurant, billiards/game room, bar, tennis court and boat ramp. There is a lighted fishing pier at the end of San Jacinto Street in Sea Isle. Guests have access to a key and it is free. This key also allows guests to use the boat ramp that is near the pool and tennis courts by the marina. There is a picnic grounds in the subdivision too.

- Sea Isle has a lighted, wide fishing pier, nice new restaurant "West End" , marina w/live bait, swimming pool, boat ramp, picnic area & playground in this subdivision. Our house is about 1 mile from the beach, 1 mile from the marina and is on the 2nd street from the bay. There is a swimming pool, tennis courts, convenience store, bait shop, bar, restaurant at the marina. In addition, there is a wide lighted fishing pier on San Jacinto Street that owners and guests can use. We have a key for this.
Rate Details (In US Dollars)
Rates for April thru Sept. 2012
2 night min. @ $225 per night; 3-5 nights @ $200 per night; 6-10 nights @ $175 per
night. To calculate total: Multiply the total number of nights by the quoted rate
add, $75 for cleaning and add 15% tax to this total. We require a $250 totally
refundable damage deposit.
Sorry but we take only personal checks, wire transfers, cash and money order. No
credit cards. ** All Holidays 3 nights minimum at $225 per night rate.
Reservations guaranteed after receipt of check for stay and signed agreement.

Why the Owner Chose Sea Isle
When we first walked into the house, I recall my initial thoughts were "water, water everywhere!" Sitting on the front porch is a soothing view of the bay and looking left and right are views of the canal. We enjoy feeding the birds, trying our luck fishing and relaxing with a cold drink as the sun goes down. This house in Sea Isle is in a quiet, nice neighborhood. You'll feel right at home and quickly adapt to the relaxed pace. It is great year round!
The Unique Benefits at this House
If you like to fish, you will discover our underwater halogen lights and spot lamp that are located in front of our "private" pier. We often sit here and fish until wee hours of the night. Fish both day and night. You'll also enjoy bird watching as well as seeing boats ride up and down the canal. The beach is walking distance ...about a mile away. And for fisherman, you'll love the new lighted fishing pier in our subdivision.
