You won’t find a nicer Greens villa! This completely renovated villa is designer furnished and carries a whimsical beach theme throughout. From a completely rennovated master bath in October 2010 to new granite kitchen countertops just installed this past December to new tile floors to updated bathrooms to new appliances, this townhome has undergone a complete renewal recently. This 2 bedroom/ 2.5 bath condo is bright and cheery and everything you would expect in an island beach house. Our unit comes stocked with all of the amenities you will need in your home away from home.
Wireless high speed internet access is provided. Two brand new flat panel LCD HDTVs will increase your television viewing experience. A DVR is available to record shows while you're out enjoying the island.
We have an arrangement with a local bike rental company to provide discounted rentals to our guests. Our guests rave about this benefit.
This Shipyard villa has the best of all worlds. #114 is located in the front row of units which are the closest to the beach. How close? Take a five minute walk and you'll be at the Shipyard Beach Club and entering the 14 miles of beautiful white sandy beach. The clubhouse to the Shipyard Golf Club, with its 27 challenging holes, is less than a mile away. Sit out on the deck and watch golfers finish up on Galleon's number 6 green. If tennis is your game, the world renowned Van Der Meer Tennis resort is directly across the street and next to the Crowne Plaza Resort. Shipyard Plantation and HHI have miles upon miles of scenic bike trails that meander through the entire Island. Pick up the bike trail directly outside your front door and begin your tour, which will certainly include wildlife and plant life that you won't see at home. Centrally located inside the community, a private pool is available for the exclusive enjoyment of The Greens guests and owners. Dining out is an island experience that begins with a dizzying effort to pick one from the hundreds of island restaurant options.
A full modern kitchen with all appliances and utensils awaits you. A dining table that comfortably seats six is situated between the kitchen and living room. The view from the living room through the 2 sliders is incredible.
The master bedroom is located on the second floor and has a king size bed, large walk-in closet, private bath, and a brand new flat panel LCD HD television. The guest bedroom is on the opposite end of the hall from the master. It has two twin beds and also has a full bath and a TV. There is a half bath on the first floor. Maximum sleeping capacity is limited to six and currently we only have sleeping arrangements for 4 people.
Rounding out the second floor plan is a full size washer and dryer for your convenience.
This is a gated community and a car pass will be provided for each rental. Parking is available directly in front of our townhome.

Why the Owner Chose The Greens
We love Hilton Head Island and our choice of Plantations is Shipyard. The Greens offers proximity to everything we enjoy on the Island. We can walk to the beach, with entry through the Shipyard Beach Club, in about 5 minutes. One of the numerous island bike paths crosses right in front of our villa. From this entry, we can inter-connect with paths that cover all parts of the island. Our unit is directly on one of Shipyard Golf Club's 27 holes, so we both get a great view and one of us enjoys playing there frequently. Biking, walking, beaching, and golfing in a beautiful, tropical setting is why we bought in The Greens.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
We spend the winter on HHI so a huge benefit, being from the Northeast, is no snow shoveling, scraping windshields, or just hibernating on frigid days. We enjoy the unusual plant life and wildlife that the island hosts. Birds that we've rarely seen in the wild are plentiful in numerous different varieties. Restaurants and cafes are numerous and offer every cuisine and from casual to formal dining...of course seafood is #1.

My family recently spent a week at The Greens in Shipyard Plantation and absolutely loved it! This was the second time we've stayed here. It's less than a 5 minute walk to the beach, which is much appreciated when carrying chairs, a cooler, etc. The condo itself is very nice, it's like being at home while on vacation. It is incredibly clean, updated, has plenty of room and has all the amenities you could ask for (digital cable, WiFi, etc). As it's a part of Shipyard, it's right in the middle of all the attractions the Island has to offer, so you're never more than a 10 minute car ride (or bike ride!) away from the fabulous restaurants/cafes, shopping and beaches. I highly recommend this rental property and will certainly be back again next year with the family. Thanks Larry and Marilyn!

We had such a great time at your villa. It was everything we were looking for, plus more. The pictures listed here do not even compare to how beautiful it really is. Thank you for allowing us to use your villa for our vacation. Our boys 9 and 7 had a blast and enjoyed the short walk to the beach. A few days we were lucky enough to catch the golf cart man who gave us a ride to the beach. The kids loved that! We saw a few alligators and a large one was sun bathing right accross from the gate entrance. Great time!! Thanks again!!

What a perfect week in a wonderful condo. It was exactly as described and more. We have rented through VRBO previously and you definitely know the owners use this unit themselves which is a bonus. Everything was well stocked, clean and in wonderful condition. The information given via e-mail and in the condo was very helpful and you felt you knew the area before you arrived. Sitting on the back deck watching the golfers was so relaxing. No need to drive to the beach which is such a bonus! We walked the beach every morning and biked the trails and the beach the rest of the day. The bicycle rental is a must as the bike trails go all over the island. My husband and I are golfers but with so much to do we only golfed once. Larry answered all my countless questions quickly and with such patience. We would highly recommend this condo/townhouse to anyone thinking of coming to Hilton Head. You will not be disappointed. The photos are an accurate picture of the unit but when you see it in person, it doesn't do it justice. We plan to come back to Hilton Head again and I would definitely contact Larry without hesitation.

My wife and I spent a week in this condo towards the end of summer and could not have asked for better accommodations. The walk to the beach (our primary target each day) was less than a 5 minute walk from the front door. When we did want to get out and see more of the island, the use of the rented bicycles was the perfect mode of transportation (and really, after all those huge seafood dinners, we needed the exercise). The condo itself felt like we were at home, it had everything we would ever need. A large, modern kitchen, multiple bathrooms, a spacious living room and adjoining dining room (for those nights we needed to eat in). We only needed the master bedroom but could have slept at least 3 or 4 more if we needed to. The place was super clean upon our arrival and the gated security at the plantation entrances makes you feel safe. We highly recommend this condo to any family (our couple even) looking to spend some time down in HHI! Oh, and be sure to sign the guest book ; )

We have been traveling to HHI for over 10 years and renting all around Shipyard. This is the best rental experience we have had. From the initial inquiry, Larry was responsive and very welcoming. His proactive approach to renting was a welcome change to what we have experienced in the past. The condo was bright, clean and tastefully updated. All the extra touches did not go unnoticed--having a cooler available for the beach was super and the bike rental connection was great--super savings over others in the area. The location is excellent. As as a whole, Shipyard is a little piece of paradise. In terms of condo location, it couldn't be better. Easy access to the beach and the bike path is right out the front door. This was the first year my children (5 years old) would be walking to/from the beach (no stroller) and there was never an issue. We have definitley found a favorite when it comes to rentals. If you haven't been to HHI you have to go and when you do go, rent 114 Greens and you won't be dissapointed.

My husband and I have enjoyed #114 The Greens twice in the 9 months. We will want to book this special condo every time we're in HH because it is beautiful throughout, wonderfully well-equipped for all our needs, has been recently updated - especially its gorgeous kitchen - and is a quick walk or bike ride down the lane to the beach. In addition, the owner was so helpful and accommodating. (Larry, I really hate to post this review about your condo because I'm afraid it won't be available to us when we need it next time :) The condo is located in our preferred plantation on the island - Shipyard - due to its charm and central location for all island activities, AND in our favorite condo area - The Greens - because of its secluded and gorgeous pool, golf views, and it's townhome style with a deck in back overlooking the golf course and the patio area in front for storing all our beach stuff and bikes. It couldn't be more perfect. Shhhh...keep #114 a well-kept secret.

We had a great stay at 114 the Greens in August. Everything was clean and well-kept. I loved having a full-size washer and dryer and the kitchen was fully stocked. The beach was very close, too. Larry was wonderful and very accommodating to our needs. I hope to make a return trip soon!
