My husband and I visited "Creektime" for a weekend getaway to celebrate our 10 year anniversary with no kids! We had a great time, the cabin is so cozy and quaint. It seemed as if there was nobody around for miles; we had such a quiet, peaceful time enjoying the creek and nature. The cabin is perfect for a couple or small family and has everything you could possibly need. I loved the screened in porch with hot tub, especially since it rained througout most of our visit. Jackie was very accomodating and even left us a surprise bottle of wine, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The cabin was very clean and well maintained. It is about a 30 minute drive to Boone, up and down a winding mountain road with a view of the rushing creek the whole way. There are several restauraunts in Boone and plenty to do within a 30-45 minute drive. Highly recommend Peddlers Steakhouse for nice dining and the Mellow Mushroon for lunch or a casual dinner. We went ziplining at Hawksnest and had a great time. They also offer snowtubing, but that was closed due to rain. We finished up the weekend with a fire in the fire pit (Glenn, a local, was nice enough to drop off a load of wood for us at a decent price), burgers on the grill and were even able to watch the super bowl on the satellite tv. We also saw deer wandering in the yard after dark. There are painting supplies at the cabin to paint rocks from the creek. We enjoyed painting our rocks and hope to bring our kids back this summer to find them :) Overall, it was a great time and a great location for a peaceful, private getaway.

My husband and I, and later, my mother and son, all spent some time in this cabin this year and cannot tell you how much we loved it. It was sooo clean!! Amazing creek, what they say is true, you can drink from it and it's cleaner than your water at home, crystal clear! The washer/dryer was crucial, and we loved having it. Mike was a huge help, whenever we needed him, he was there. I loved it was a pet friendly cabin, even though we didn't bring ours. Our would have run off! Very peaceful, loved painting the rocks when we were done. Great price. Can't wait to go again! Also, big plus was futon couch in living room. My husband and I laid it down into a bed to snuggle up in. The fireplace (propane) was amazing too, very dazzling. Kitchen very well stocked, BRAND new grill, that was awesome to cook on. Enjoyed some wine out by the fire, roasted marshmellows and such. Jacuzzi was amazing, got to hear the water and we sat in a warm hot tub...how relaxing! Ms. Jackie was a real pleasure to deal with, I enjoyed talking with her and she called to check on us as well, which was great! Can't wait to go back!!

We absolutely loved our visit. Even though we didn't bring our dogs, it is pet friendly. They provided extra blankets and towels for the furry members of the family, which was a nice gesture They have assorted paints and brushes and encourage everyone who stays to leave behind a painted rock-the kids loved that. The house was very clean and we felt like we were at home. This place is perfect for a romantic getaway or a fun family time. There was an X-Box and games for the kids and a complimentary bottle of wine for mom and dad. We loved it and look foward to staying there again.

This was a great get away. There was snow on the ground and a beautiful creek. They have a cute firepit and even leave paints and rocks so you can leave behind your own rock. The loft was great for the kids and they enjoyed all of the games. We drow into Boone to ski and the drive is so pretty. We loved Creekside and want to visit again with our dog next time.
