This custom 1700 square foot home is located an hour and 1/2 from Chicago and an easy drive via the toll road. It is rare to find a brand new home which is available for rent weekly or monthly yet alone on Eagle Lake. Eagle Lake does not offer public access, we can assist boats being put on lake at marina area, and the majority of the homes are year round residences, thus not a high traffic and hectic lake to enjoy. We enjoy many birds including families of swans and ducks which share our pier area. We will offer a waterfront which is close to the home for an easy watch of children and dogs. This lake is well known for its cleanliness and summer fun of boating.
This new home is located near Granger, Indiana, Mishawalka, Indiana and Notre Dame for all of the needs of those wanting to come to relax and enjoy some time away from a busy schedule. We are dog lovers ourselves and welcome your family pet and would like you to enjoy our lake home with family and friends. We are also Notre Dame fans and welcome football fans to enjoy such a great location for a game weekend in the fall.
We enjoyed a great response to this quality home, just available this year, on the lake with being completely booked for summer 2009 and into fall 2009 with Notre Dame events. Why the Owner Chose Edwardsburg
While we have rented our home for most of the summer 2009 and now most of the fall we want you to think about relaxing at teh lake in December and January as you will see the swans and duck hunters all winter long. The lake has a very private feel and during the winter it is equally as tranquil as the summer. Why not enjoy a fire by the lake with the mittens on and a hot "tottie". Winter rates are discounted and just time away refreshes anyone. If you enjoy snow mobil riding we are right on the trails and you will enjoy our close location to the "trail of Michigan tavens" for snow mobiles you bring or we can look into renting for you. In addition it has amazing wildlife and a reputation of a class A lake community. Winter on Eagle Lake are full of snow trails, riding and relaxing by the fire at the lake with a movie or hoem cooked meal.
The Unique Benefits at this House
A wide open feel on the lake with a private community with very little drive by car traffic. This allows for room for children to play and dogs to run without worry. All seasons of the year are magnificent with ice fisherman, swans all year round, duck hunters on the lake, snow mobile riding with great winter trails and all of the summer boating/ swimming and cooking out of summer living at the lake.
Dead end street allows for a private vacation and low traffic area for children to ride bikes and dogs to enjoy the lake without worry of cars an high traffic.
5 min drive for your morning coffee. 10-15 min drive to target and all shops of Granger and Mishawalka 5 min drive to Golf Course 5 min drive to Lunker's Restaurant and shops.

We are city living owners who have always enjoyed the easy drive to this area for a retreat from Chicago. There are great taverns, golf courses and specialty stores and eatery areas that make this a relaxing retreat all year long. We were both raised in this area and our family still live nearby for helpful hands during your rental if needed.
