The North Country Lake Shore Trail, Snowmobile in and out as well as cross country skiing and snow shoeing is at your door step. This home is beautifully furnished and well appointed. Fall in Grand Marais - wonderful setting!

We stayed at this property in October of 2010 and had a wonderful time. We timed the fall colors perfectly. The house was ideal, in a gated community, right on the beach and very secluded. This is a great location if you are looking for a "home base" from which to explore the UP. The owners were very helpful and the house is in excellent condition and has everything you need to make your stay exceptional. We are planning to go back again this fall (2011).
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

We spent 3 nights at this property and it was outstanding. The owners made sure that everything was first class and were easy to deal with and honest! The house was exceptionally clean, magnificent, loaded with incidentals, located on a pristine beach and close to major outdoor activities. This is truly the best place that we have ever rented! Thanks to the owners for making such a property available for rental. We will be back!

This is a wonderful house – big, bright, cheery, modern, and well appointed with a nearly private beach. After miles of hot, bug-intense hiking in and around Pictured Rocks Lakeshore it was a great oasis. The bedrooms are ample in size and comfort. The kitchen is well stocked with amenities. The screened in sun room made an excellent breakfast area. The beach is sandy with plenty of rocks for collectors. It's great for beach fires under a spray of stars. My family has rented vacation homes across the country, but this one tops them all to date.
