  We loved our stay at Mimosa. Mary Ann was very helpful and easy to deal with and everyone on her team was professional, helpful and friendly. We arrived a day ahead of our scheduled arrival date to escape a New England Blizzard and Mary Ann and her team graciously moved all our reservations a day earlier than planned. We really appreciated their efforts and flexibility. Mimosa has a fantastic outdoor balcony/patio that is well equipped with a grill, comfortable loungers and umbrellas and the view is amazing. The house is clean, the bed comfortable, the couch made me feel right at home. The beach is a 5 minute walk down a path between this property and Serenity next door. The beach is beautiful and uncrowded and there are several restaurants within walking distance on the beach (by day). This was our first trip to Anguilla and the Anguillans impressed me with their friendly and helpful nature. Our two favorite restaurants were Roys and Monoah. We rented a car for a few days to explore the island (loved Rendevous Bay too) and restaurants and I would recommend a car. Mimosa is on the quiet end of the island. You won't be disappointed!

  The Penthouse was perfect for my husband and I. We loved being able to have all the French doors wide open and waking up to the view of the ocean. In addition to the well furnished apartment, the bed is even comfortable! The view is spectacular and Shoal Bay beach is equally spectacular. Charlene and Junior manage the Penthouse and are very attentive and enjoyable. Be sure to spend a Sunday and enjoy the music at Johnno's Beach bar (Sandy Ground) and Gwen's Reggae Bar. (A very short walk down Shoal beach). Don't miss the $5 Crayfish On Sunday at On-Da-Rocks. We loved everything about our stay and will be returning.

  Our stay at Villa Mimosa went beyond our expectations! Not only was the Villa beautiful and private, but we learned a lot about the island thanks to Junior and Charlene, and this really made us feel at home. We loved the beautiful patio and used the grill to cook fresh lobster that Junior arranged via local fishermen. We loved the comfortable bed and the kitchen was filled with mostly what we needed. The bathroom was a pleasure as were the ample closets and safe provided. Evette provided us with the towels we needed and her caring touch. We are looking forward to another stay at Villa Mimosa!

  Loved it! The owner (Mary Ann) was easy to deal with & quickly responded. Mimosa was beautiful with stunning views. We woke up (in the most comfortable bed ever) to wonderfully peculiar sounds of birds as the breeze kept the entire penthouse (screened windows) cool, helped by the 4 ceiling fans. The air conditioning also helped when the sun was strongest. Even after seeing the pics, we were still wowed upon arrival. The 3 sets of French doors allow for full scenery. The kitchen has everything needed. The free wifi and included cellphone was a bonus! There’s also a lockable safe. It was lifestyles of the rich and famous at the gated property with a key pad entrance. The private porch is massive with a terrific breeze and high end furniture. The living room furniture is comfy and inviting and the TV gets an abundance of channels. The bathroom is big and beautiful with a huge shower. Junior, the property mgr, met us upon arrival and showed us the beautiful property & short path to the beach. He was very helpful and clearly cares for the happiness of the guests. Charlene (Junior’s wife) takes care of the upfront planning, including car rental and ferry service. She was quick & helpful to respond to my questions and even met us at the ferry & took us to the property making it an easy find upon arrival to beautiful Anguilla. It was a pleasure to meet Evette, the housekeeper, who kept the towels plentiful and the groundskeeper (Clem?) that keeps the grounds as neat as a pin. Charlene and Junior called us mid-week to ensure we were enjoying our stay and see if we needed anything! The path to the beach is short and there are nice steps that take you onto the sand where you have use of chairs on the Serenity beach. We saw 5 people on the beach the entire time we were there so it really is private. It’s a 2 minute walk along the beach to Gwen’s; and another 5 minute beach walk to Uncle Ernie’s, Shoal Bay Villas, etc. Our friends were staying at Shoal Bay Villas, so it was only an 8 min stroll along the sand to see them. Loved Dunes Preserve; Meads Bay and the Straw Hat Restaurant; also enjoyed Le Bon Pain bakery; experienced Scilly Cay; and had a terrific dinner at Valley Bistro. Really enjoyed the Pit Stop. Serenity serves terrific breakfast, lunch, & dinner. Mimosa is a perfect luxury beach hideaway; a few steps to the most beautiful beach; so close to so many places. We just loved it & didn’t want to leave. Wish we were still there!

  Must have the harbour Jimmy was singing about. And the Mimosa Penthouse was the best hammock anyone could ever hope for. We thoroughly enjoyed waking up each morning with the breeze blowing through the room, the sound of the waves ending on the shore, and the five minute walk to some of the most amazing snorkling. Don't forget to visit Joan, Glenville, and Al at the Pit Stop just a couple miles down the road for the best ribs, fish, scalloped potatoes, and johnny cakes you have ever had. We are already looking forward to next year's visit!
