This unique cottage (circa 1950's) is located on one of Falmouths inlets known as Eel pond and minutes away from Waquoit Bay. Across the street, you will find public access to the water. Seacoast Shores private beach is a short walk from the cottage. Take your morning coffee as you stroll along the waters edge and savor the breathtaking scenery and the serene and relaxing sounds of nature.
It is enticing to know that the Dileo cotage is conveniently located only 10 minutes to downtown Falmouth; home of the Super Stop N Shop, Walmart, Christmas Tree Shop and several seafood resteraunts.
It is equally 10 minutes to the Mashpee Commons; where there are weekly outside concerts, fireworks, movies and fine dining. Hyannis Port Center is 35 minutes away; while only 20 minutes from Woods Hole. Here you can ferry to Martha's Vinyard or Nantucket for the day or weekend. Do not miss the FREE Oceanographic Museum at Wood's Hole; where you can picnic outdoors, while enjoying the ship scenery, live seal shows and even a hands-on area! 30 minutes North you can recreate the English Village dating back to the year of 1627 at Plimouth Plantation.
Whatever your hobbies may be, Falmouth can entertain all types of activities; from sailing, surfing, baseball, fishing, shopping, whale or dolphin watching, site-seeing, swimming (both salt and fresh water), biking,theaters/playhouses and berry picking.
FYI: August 15,2010 is the annual Falmouth Road Race; a 7 mile run benefiting a multitude of charities. This is an extremely popular race, with a sell-out occupancy.

This quaint cottage was purchased by Domenick and Gilda DiLeo in 1954. The DiLeo family has maintained sole ownership to present day. In honor of their parents, with upgraded renovations, the four children wish to share their cottage with those that would appreciate the tranquility of Cape cod.

A disappointing property, kitchen nice, bathroom nice, sleeping area okay. Living/dining area in serious need of updating, "TINY TV " no access to channels it is just for watching DVDs. Yard not kid friendly as it is not fenced in and has a considerable drop in the rear with random cinder blocks lying around. A little creativity and updating indoors and some landscaping improvements would go a long way here and make the property more attractive. A decent size TV with at least basic cable so one could at least watch the news is almost a necessity not a luxury in this day and age.
