This unique island vacation home and guest cabin overlook beautiful Westcott Bay on San Juan Island. It's a wonderful place to stay year round -- peaceful & welcoming in the cooler months, and strikingly beautiful in the sunshine with plenty to do on the island. Relax and breathe in the sea air while dining on the spacious deck, swaying in the hammock, or sitting down by the beach as gentle waves come in and gulls glide by. Our family's property includes 2 cabins: main house and a guest house. There is a short trail between the two (about 40 feet apart). Combined, the structures sleep a total of 6-8 people. Large windows let in lots of light. The main house has a central living area that connects to kitchen - great for cooks who like to converse with everyone else! Kitchen has lots of counter space, a view of the water, and is fully stocked with cooking appliances. Large dining table is great for group meals. The guest cabin has it's own bathroom, small kitchen, mini-fridge, & dining space.
From our property, sea otter and bald eagle sightings are common. In addition to water views, the property looks out past the bay into lush greenery of "British Camp", a protected national park. Catch glimpses of the world-famous Westcott Bay oyster farm, a small operation on the water's edge. The beach out front is perfect for clamming and collecting muscles, as well as dungeness crabbing during open season (typically mid-July through September or early October).
Great surrounding area for walking, biking, boating, or just sitting by the bay and relaxing. Take a 20 minute stroll from the house to reach charming Roche Harbor. Visit the Roche website for more details. Friday Harbor, which offers a variety of activities, is 15 minutes away by car and 1 hour by bike. To visit larger ocean-side beaches, drive or bike to the other side of the island. Whale watching opportunities are just 10 minutes away by car or 45 min away by bicycle.

NON PEAK .....October 1st to Pre-Memorial Day Wknd.. $345/night .. $2100/week.
3 night minimum for peak season. 2 night min for non-peak(holidays- 3 night min)
$125 non-refundable Cleaning Fee.
$350 refundable Damage/Security Deposit.
$75 flat rate Pet Fee (up to 2 dogs allowed).

We felt like we were staying in a treehouse with the amazing view from the front room & dining room area. Watched eagles and otters in the early morning and the water was like glass. Well stocked kitchen with everything you needed and it was so clean. We enjoyed seeing the sights of San Juan Island and then had the convenience of a beautiful home to come back to and share meals & great memories. We had my parents, sister & fiancee' and our family and we all fit comfortably & felt like there was plenty of room. The extra cabin sure is a bonus. We would love to go back when the weather is warmer :>).
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My family (7 total) stayed at this charming house/cabin last weekend. There were enough chairs at the dinner table for all of us and plenty of room to relax when hanging out. The house was really clean, the kitchen was well stocked (beautiful dishes, pots/pans, etc) and the beds were comfy. They had lots of board games to play, crabpots, a rowboat and a swing. We had an AWESOME time. :) And, oh my gosh, the view! With tons of windows, you can really enjoy the scenery (even when washing dishes). I wish I could wake up to views like that every morning...
