My wife and I decided to build Portage Condominium and Marina after we lost our home in Pass Christian to Hurricane Katrina. We had bought our vacation home there in the early '90's and enjoyed it tremendously. Our family and friends would join us regularly for boating and fishing. Conveniently located one hour outside of New Orleans, we were able to escape to our getaway often.
