Why the Owner Chose Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa
We have been all over Florida and have found Southwest Florida to be the best. Fabulous beaches, amazing restaurants, great shopping, awesome golf, fishing…the list goes on and on! The location of the 213 is perfect. Along with being on the world class 4 Star Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa, Sanibel Island and Fort Myers Beach are only 10 minutes away. Plus all of Southwest Florida is just a short drive. In the winter it’s one of the only warm places in the US with pool and beach weather. If you want to thaw out, you have to vacation in Fort Myers.
We have many fantastic memories of our kids growing up here enjoying everything Fort Myers has to offer. We loved it so much we moved knowing all our family and friends will visit us in sunny Florida.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
213 was designed as a second home and you’ll see the difference the second you walk in. We completely remodeled the condo. Everything was redone and there are a lot of extras. We love to cook and the kitchen boasts all the cookware you’ll need for a gourmet meal. We’ve entertained many occasions from birthdays and New Years to Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The 2 bedroom 1,200 square foot condo sleeps 6 comfortably. Soft liens and towels await you after a long day at the beach. Did I mention the private beach?! Yeah, no fighting for a chair at the pool or the beach, it’s very relaxing. The master bedroom has a king size Tempur-Pedic bed with a whirlpool bath in the bath. It’s truly a place you’ll want to come back again to unwind and relax from life’s busy pace.

Owner's Map of Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa
Hello,
Prior to us moving full time to Fort Myers, 213 was our 2nd home. We escaped the cold weather of Wisconsin about every month. During those 7 years we never rented the condo. Now you can enjoy a sunny vacation in Florida in a beautiful 2 bedroom beachfront condo on the 4 Star Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa. Look at all the amenities and compare. You’ll find our place is far more comfortable and is designed as a home not just another rental unit.

Thanksgiving week on the Gulf Coast of Florida

Our family traveled from Iowa and Illinois to attend a wedding in Fort Myers, Florida, and to spend Thanksgiving week relaxing, enjoying the Gulf Coast, and visiting with family. A friend suggested we try renting a condo, something we had never done. We had been in Fort Myers in January, and I knew we wanted more seclusion than we saw at Fort Myers Beach. Also, our daughter is a natural resources management grad student, and I knew something close to Sanibel Island would appeal to her. We also wanted reasonably easy access to main highways to get to the wedding and to other family gatherings during the week. This condo suited our needs perfectly. The listing description and photos are very accurate. The property is very well maintained, the condo includes everything we could possibly need, and Steve answered all our questions promptly. While we were close to the Marriott, with all of its amenities, we were also secluded from it, and that was important to us. We could walk along our beach and watch dolphins and birds from our lanai. One night, I elected to sleep on the lanai, listening to the waves hitting the shore in front of me. That is an awesome memory when our temps drop well below freezing here in Iowa. We spent a couple of days on Sanibel Island, shelling at Bowman's Beach, bird watching at the Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge, and touring the wildlife rehabilitaion center. We discovered Doc Ford's Rum Bar and Grill on Sanibel by chance, and I would highly recommend it. I like to read novels that are set in places I am visiting, and I had downloaded a Randy Wayne White Doc Ford novel to my kindle before we flew out of Iowa. Having never read him before, I was very surprised when I spotted the restaurant as we returned from shelling. Good local food, including vegetarian options, and an opportunity to purchase another Doc Ford novel. Some of our most cherished memories were of times spent at the condo, comparing shells we found on the beach to a shell chart we found in the tv cabinet, watching a sunset, walking out into the water and observing all the life beneath the surface, watching a brown pelican lift a large fish from the water and fly away, and finally spotting dolphins our last full day there. We had a great week, and we would definitely recommend this unit to our friends and family.

We spent a week at this lovely condo at the beginning of October 2011. It was pristine and exactly as shown on the site. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The view from the balcony was beautiful and a delight to see every day. We enjoyed the shipping, the birds and the dolphins. We would most certainly use this condo in the future. We also very much enjoyed Fort Myers and the surrounding area, with sighting of magnificent dolphins and manatees on most visits to the beach. Cath Peet and party

We were in Ft. Myers for a baseball tournament and were so happy to have our lovely condo to return to each evening. It was very nicely decorated, very spacious, and very well-equipped. The view from the condo is spectacular and the pool and beach are just steps away. Steve was always very prompt with communication and very easy to work with. I highly recommend this property!

Our family was in town for a baseball tornament in Fort Myers for a week. After many a crazy day at the fields, it was so wonderfully relaxing to come back to this quiet condo with the beautiful view. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed all week. The washer and dryer was a huge blessing since we had baseball uniforms to wash all week. We spent a lot of time on the beaches and soaking up the Florida sun. The pictures on your website are exactly as descibed. This was an awesome place to stay!

We stayed in Steve's condo for a girls weekend getaway. The location was super. We were close to everything tourists like but the resort was in it's own secluded area, it was perfect for us. So, if you want to be on the beach without the crowds, THIS IS THE PLACE. The condo was clean, beautiful and stocked with all the necessities. The price, location, friendliness of everyone and experience will be worth you renting this condo. This was the first time we used homeaway.com. If every owner is like Steve, we will definately use it again. Steve was very accomodating & helpful in all areas of our trip.

The timing worked out perfectly to stay in Steve's amazing condo. I literally contacted him the night before we arrived and asked if we could rent the unit. He was very helpful and gave all of the information needed to have a hugely productive week of writing in this spacious two bedroom condo! I like it a lot because it's not on the crowded Fort Myers Beach area nor do you have to cross the bridge to get to Sanibel. You have all of the luxuries of those locations but miss the hour plus wait to get across the bridge to the beach or pay to and from the toll booth set up at the entrance to Sanibel Island. The music from the Marriott was fun to listen to from the screened in lanai that overlooks the water where we saw dolphins, manatee and Mother Nature at Her finest! The sunsets are magical. There's everything you could hope for in 213 and more! Enjoy your stay and thanks again Steve!

My husband and our two children just returned from 5 days in this beautiful condo. It was nice to stay in a condo that is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay as well as "extras" too. The location is perfect - the beach and pool are a few steps away. The overall property is beautifully maintained. We especially liked how peaceful it is as well as the close proximity to the Sanibel Resort, which has great restaurants and activities for the kids.

My family had a great time! The condo was lovely - everything we needed was at hand. It was a perfect spot for everyone to congregate for the family wedding taking place in the area. Your information about the time/distance to the wedding and reception was extremely helpful. We took advantage of the amenities at Sanibel Harbour Resort by having lunch at The Cove and dinner at Charley's Cabana Bar with different family members. We even had a gathering of just our family for a sunset cruise on the Sanibel Harbour Princess one evening. It was a wonderful way for the 10 of us from across the country to visit and catch up before our nephew's wedding took place. We took trips over to Sanibel Island. There was also lots of time for relaxing in the pools, walking or looking for shells along the shore in front of the condo, watching the dolphins, and putting your feet up watching the boats go by from the screened in balcony. We're already talking about when we're going to meet there the next time.

What an amazing vacation!! 4 of us girlfriends traveled here for our 40th birthdays just when we needed to leave the snow and cold in MN. The accomodations were amazing - very clean and everything we needed!! Steve covered everything and made us feel right at home. Everyone was so friendly that we met by the condo pool, hot tub and at the resort. Lunch by the main pool was great - inexpensive and very tasty! The hammocks just past the main pool were lovely but make sure you get one early enough! The location is perfect and it was just a short drive across the bridge to go shelling or out for dinner on Sanibel and Captiva Island. Try having a dessert at the Bubble Room Restaurant on Captiva, out of this world!! The sunsets were beautiful from the lania, what a view!! Everything was wonderful and we will definitely be returning and recommending the condo to family and friends.
