The condo was perfect. As it was mentioned in the ad, there were many extra amenities as it was their 2nd home - and that was very true. From beach toys to fishing gear to a blender and a garlic press, everything we needed was there. The master bedroom was big and comfortable, 2nd bdrm was perfect for our kids with 2 double beds. Loved sitting on the screened in porch overlooking the water. Beautiful, comfortable, and spacious. Only regret was that we didn't stay longer.Did you find this review helpful? What a great place to spend a holiday. The Condo was even better than we had expected. The location is stunning, with the sea almost at our doorstep and stunning views over the bay. We saw dolphins almost every day, often close in to the shore. We had fun watching the many boats passing the Condo, deciding which one we would buy if we won the lottery! The Condo itself was extremely well appointed with everything we needed. The beds were especially comfortable! The Condo was beautifully furnished and decorated with a seaside theme, in keeping with the location. The pool attached to the Condo, was great and well located almost on the beach. We visited the beautiful islands of Sanibel and Captiva, with their shops and beaches. Access to the bridge to the islands was very easy from the complex where the Condo is located. Naples, an easy drive away, is well worth a visit Sue especially enjoyed the shops! We would have no hesitation in recommending the Condo to friends and family, and hope to return ourselves in the not too distant future. Thanks Steve for a great holiday. Best wishes Sue, Mal, Andrew and Christopher Lamb. North Wales, UK.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Our family really enjoyed this lovely Condo! It was very well appointed. We do a lot of cooking in and this kitchen is well appointed with cookware, dishes and cutlery. The view is spectacular and it is nice being on the second floor it makes it easier to just use the stairs instead of waiting for the elevator. The beds were so nice that my brother and sister in law wanted to take home their mattress! A great time had by all!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3

Every year on MLK weekend, a group of girlfriends from college pick a location in the US to reunite because we are all scattered across the country. This year we picked Fort Myers and found this little gem to stay in for the weekend. The pictures and description are incredibly accurate. This condo was beautiful, well-stocked, had plenty of free parking, gorgeous sunsets, very comfortable beds, and a perfect patio to enjoy the view. I could go on and on about how great this place was. The owner was extremely thorough, professional and helpful leading up to trip. We enjoyed the area with: a trip to Sanibel, an amazing manatee kayak tour with "Manatee Guides", area restaurants (we liked to stick to the lower priced restaurants closer by the airports), and taking in the wildlife & nature preserves. A great place to spend any kind of trip. Thank you again for making this a unforgettable weekend!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

The condo was absolutely beautiful....the view and sunsets couldn't have been better. We visited Ft Myers/Sanibel for a girls 4-day weekend, and were thrilled we rented Steve's condo from the minute we opened the door and could see straight through out the balcony to the gorgeous gulf! Steve made renting the condo so simple, and the condo was equipped with everything we needed (and more!). The beds were so comfortable, the living room and dining room decorated beautifully....but we spent all our time on the breathtaking balcony...Coffee in the morning, afternoon cocktails and dinner....all on our private balcony with spectacular views....even saw dolphins swimming by:-) We can't say enough about how great a choice we made to stay at the condo.....pool was beautiful, condo perfect, ...Charlie's Cabana bar at the Marriott was a great place for a snack and drinks....overlooking the gulf! We will definitely be back....and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Thanks again Steve for everything!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

My family and I have traveled to Sanibel, Captiva and Ft Myers beach multiple times over the years and this condo is the perfect location to all three areas. Everything is exactly as pictured, immaculatly decorated/maintained and was ample room for our family of 3 adults and 3 kids. Most vacation rentals are bare bones but this condo was stocked with all the amenities, including beach toys, games, movies, tennis rackets and fishing gear. The kitchen had all the conveiniences of home including a washer and dryer. The master bedroom has a Temperpedic bed and a roman tub that were amazing to come back to at the end of a long beach day. We enjoyed breakfast and sunsets from our patio every day watching boats, wildlife and listening to the waves. The property is beautifully maintained with a nice pool, jacuzzi and beach on site. Access to the Marriot is included and there is a game room there that the kids spent time in on a rainy afternoon. The pool at the Marriot is nice, but we found it noisy and crowed so we opted to stay at our pool. We did visit the pool side bar and enjoyed the rum runners and bloody marys. A Publix is just up the street, as are outlet shops. We dined at Pinchers Crab Shack in Ft Myers, Doc Fords Rum Bar in Ft Myers Beach and The Lighthouse Cafe in Sanibel. All were great food at a great price. We travelled with family friends that stayed in unit 613 and that unit is equally as nice. Steve the owner was a pleasure to work with. We definitly will be back for another visit, can't reccommend the condo enough!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 4/4

Our little group of 60+ year old women travel every year while our husbands go on their golf trip. This year was perfect from the start as we contacted Steve who answered every question with warmth and interest. The condo was decorated wonderfully, extremely clean, comfortable & is exactly as the pictures depicted. The weather wasn't the best but the condo provided us with enough room to cozy up, gab, read and just plain have fun! When the sun appeared we were sooo close to the water and the condo pool we didn't even venture to the Marriott. And the lanai....what a treat! We will definitely return!! PS We had a change in our return flight times and without hesitation Steve accommodated our requests for late check out....what a gem!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 4/4

We really appreciated how easy Steve made the rental process go! As a matter of fact, everything about our New Years Vacation was extremely easy! Having 3 boys to keep entertained, it was really great having the Condo located close to the beach front, pool and Marriott amenities. The boys loved the TV, movies and cool stuff they found around the condo (sand & water toys, fishing poles, shells)! Of course, we explored Sanibel & Captiva Islands which were full of great stuff to do! Would recommend renting the condo without hesitation! Thank you for such a relaxing & easy vacation!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

Our family traveled from Iowa and Illinois to attend a wedding in Fort Myers, Florida, and to spend Thanksgiving week relaxing, enjoying the Gulf Coast, and visiting with family. A friend suggested we try renting a condo, something we had never done. We had been in Fort Myers in January, and I knew we wanted more seclusion than we saw at Fort Myers Beach. Also, our daughter is a natural resources management grad student, and I knew something close to Sanibel Island would appeal to her. We also wanted reasonably easy access to main highways to get to the wedding and to other family gatherings during the week. This condo suited our needs perfectly. The listing description and photos are very accurate. The property is very well maintained, the condo includes everything we could possibly need, and Steve answered all our questions promptly. While we were close to the Marriott, with all of its amenities, we were also secluded from it, and that was important to us. We could walk along our beach and watch dolphins and birds from our lanai. One night, I elected to sleep on the lanai, listening to the waves hitting the shore in front of me. That is an awesome memory when our temps drop well below freezing here in Iowa. We spent a couple of days on Sanibel Island, shelling at Bowman's Beach, bird watching at the Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge, and touring the wildlife rehabilitaion center. We discovered Doc Ford's Rum Bar and Grill on Sanibel by chance, and I would highly recommend it. I like to read novels that are set in places I am visiting, and I had downloaded a Randy Wayne White Doc Ford novel to my kindle before we flew out of Iowa. Having never read him before, I was very surprised when I spotted the restaurant as we returned from shelling. Good local food, including vegetarian options, and an opportunity to purchase another Doc Ford novel. Some of our most cherished memories were of times spent at the condo, comparing shells we found on the beach to a shell chart we found in the tv cabinet, watching a sunset, walking out into the water and observing all the life beneath the surface, watching a brown pelican lift a large fish from the water and fly away, and finally spotting dolphins our last full day there. We had a great week, and we would definitely recommend this unit to our friends and family.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

We spent a week at this lovely condo at the beginning of October 2011. It was pristine and exactly as shown on the site. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. The view from the balcony was beautiful and a delight to see every day. We enjoyed the shipping, the birds and the dolphins. We would most certainly use this condo in the future. We also very much enjoyed Fort Myers and the surrounding area, with sighting of magnificent dolphins and manatees on most visits to the beach. Cath Peet and partyDid you find this review helpful? Our family was in town for a baseball tornament in Fort Myers for a week. After many a crazy day at the fields, it was so wonderfully relaxing to come back to this quiet condo with the beautiful view. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed all week. The washer and dryer was a huge blessing since we had baseball uniforms to wash all week. We spent a lot of time on the beaches and soaking up the Florida sun. The pictures on your website are exactly as descibed. We stayed in Steve's condo for a girls weekend getaway. The location was super. We were close to everything tourists like but the resort was in it's own secluded area, it was perfect for us. So, if you want to be on the beach without the crowds, THIS IS THE PLACE. The condo was clean, beautiful and stocked with all the necessities. The price, location, friendliness of everyone and experience will be worth you renting this condo. This was the first time we used homeaway.com. If every owner is like Steve, we will definately use it again. Steve was very accomodating & helpful in all areas of our trip.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

The timing worked out perfectly to stay in Steve's amazing condo. I literally contacted him the night before we arrived and asked if we could rent the unit. He was very helpful and gave all of the information needed to have a hugely productive week of writing in this spacious two bedroom condo! I like it a lot because it's not on the crowded Fort Myers Beach area nor do you have to cross the bridge to get to Sanibel. You have all of the luxuries of those locations but miss the hour plus wait to get across the bridge to the beach or pay to and from the toll booth set up at the entrance to Sanibel Island. The music from the Marriott was fun to listen to from the screened in lanai that overlooks the water where we saw dolphins, manatee and Mother Nature at Her finest! The sunsets are magical. There's everything you could hope for in 213 and more! Enjoy your stay and thanks again Steve!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and our two children just returned from 5 days in this beautiful condo. It was nice to stay in a condo that is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay as well as "extras" too. The location is perfect - the beach and pool are a few steps away. The overall property is beautifully maintained. We especially liked how peaceful it is as well as the close proximity to the Sanibel Resort, which has great restaurants and activities for the kids.Recommended for: Families with young children, sightseeing.

My family had a great time! The condo was lovely - everything we needed was at hand. It was a perfect spot for everyone to congregate for the family wedding taking place in the area. Your information about the time/distance to the wedding and reception was extremely helpful. We took advantage of the amenities at Sanibel Harbour Resort by having lunch at The Cove and dinner at Charley's Cabana Bar with different family members. We even had a gathering of just our family for a sunset cruise on the Sanibel Harbour Princess one evening. It was a wonderful way for the 10 of us from across the country to visit and catch up before our nephew's wedding took place. We took trips over to Sanibel Island. There was also lots of time for relaxing in the pools, walking or looking for shells along the shore in front of the condo, watching the dolphins, and putting your feet up watching the boats go by from the screened in balcony. We're already talking about when we're going to meet there the next time.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We're from Indiana and with all the snow that we've had this year, we were definitely ready for warm weather. We had never rented a condo from an owner before, so we were a little skeptical as to what we were in for, but we thought we'd try Steve's place out because it looked very nice and sounded like what we were wanting...a relaxing vacation! What we got was MORE than the 5-Star rating that we selected for this rental. The condo was an absolute dream...beautifully decorated, very comfortable, awesome views, spacious and the sliding doors that opened to the screened-in lanai was like having your own little piece of heaven! The condo had everything just like if you were in your own home and Steve had made sure that we knew everythng about the condo, the amenities that went along with the condo and the surrounding area outside of the resort itself. There was nothing that was left out, but he gave us his number just in case we needed to call him. What hospitality! Each morning we would get up and walk the trail around the spa and tennis courts or walk around the resort grounds. A couple of times we went shelling on Sanibel Island and the rest of the time we were soaking up the rays by the pool. One afternoon we had drinks at the Pelican Pool Bar and Grille that overlooked the bay. Each evening we would go out to a different restaurant. Couldn't get anymore relaxing than that. We both decided we had never stayed anywhere nicer and we plan to make the trip back in a couple of years for our 25th wedding anniversary. Thanks so much, Steve. This vacation was definitely over the top!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed in this condo in early March 2010 for 4 nights. It was my husband and I, my parents, and my sister. We were in town for spring training. We caught a game at Hammond Stadium (MN Twins) and City of Palms Park (Boston Red Sox). For most of us, it was our first time in Florida. We had such a great time, and this condo was really comfortable. We were on the go so much; I wish I would have had more time to just sit on the lanai. It has a gorgeous view of the bay. And the property lies just before the toll bridge to Sanibel Island, so we went over there twice during our short stay, where we picked up lots of shells, bought some souvenirs, and watched the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico. I also highly recommend Lovers Key State Park for a beautiful view and walk along the sandy beach. We didn't use the property amenities much, but there are pools, a hot tub, tennis courts, restaurants, and a bar onsite. The people at the front desk of the resort are helpful and have local maps and attraction info. It was pretty quiet, and the neighbors, when we saw them, were friendly. The condo has everything anyone would likely need and then some. The beds were comfortable. You can pack light because there's a washer and dryer in the kitchen for your use too. It has all the usual stuff - dishwasher, garbage disposal, air conditioning, towels, hair dryer, cooking items, etc. I can't think of anything we needed that we didn't have. The restaurants in the area are great too. We loved the huge menu, including delicious sweet potato fries and special dipping sauce at the Hungry Heron on Sanibel Island and the gourmet food at incredible prices at Bahama Breeze in Fort Myers. Check them out! Steve, the owner, is very responsive and willing to answer questions or help with whatever is needed. This is much more than a rental property to him, and it shows. It is decorated and furnished like a home, not a hotel room. My whole family loved this place, and we will likely be back again another year, and we would definitely like to stay here again. We didn't want to leave.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The ship is beautiful and the food is excellent. The poolside bars and the courtrside steakhouse were very good. The easy access to Sanibel with its many good restaurants provided dining variety. What an amazing vacation!! 4 of us girlfriends traveled here for our 40th birthdays just when we needed to leave the snow and cold in MN. The accomodations were amazing - very clean and everything we needed!! Steve covered everything and made us feel right at home. Everyone was so friendly that we met by the condo pool, hot tub and at the resort. Lunch by the main pool was great - inexpensive and very tasty! The hammocks just past the main pool were lovely but make sure you get one early enough! The location is perfect and it was just a short drive across the bridge to go shelling or out for dinner on Sanibel and Captiva Island. Try having a dessert at the Bubble Room Restaurant on Captiva, out of this world!! The sunsets were beautiful from the lania, what a view!! Everything was wonderful and we will definitely be returning and recommending the condo to family and friends.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I stayed with a friend at the warmly decortated condo and it had all that we needed and more. The owners provided necessities that are the responsibility of the renter at other places we have stayed. We lounged on the balcony (that's what we call them up north) and watched the dolphins swimming in the bay. The restaurants on the property were excellent as well. I would highly recommend this destination. You can tell the owners have a true fondness for the property and that it is not just a revenue generating business venture. Everything about our experience with the Condo was absolutely perfect. Everything worked as advertised, the keyless entry was sweet, no key to keep up with while you're at the pool or on the beach. The view of the sunsets was absolutely breathtaking, from the screened balcony and the beach!!! Steve answered all my questions and his suggestions were right on target as far as things to do and see. I would recommend this condo for all who are interested, from a couple looking for a romantic getaway as well as for a family with children. Close to everything you could want to do, you wouldn't even have to leave the condo and resort area to have a great vacation. Definitely planning on another stay, next time hopefully for more time. My three friends and I stayed for a long weekend in May at this condo. Steve met me at the condo before I picked up my friends at the airport. It was nice to not have to keep up with a key since the door lock is programmed with a number. The condo was very nicely furnished and decorated. It was clean and comfortable. The beds were extremely comfortable! We didn't cook, but if we had wanted to we would have had everything we needed. The balcony had a great view of the water and boats going by. It was a nice place to have breakfast in the morning and cocktails at night. The sunset was right in front of us! Beautiful! We enjoyed using the pool next to the condo as it was fairly quiet and private. But we also used the main resort pool which was much more bustling. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a nice place to stay that is close to shopping and Sanibel. We ate at Charley's on the property, but went to Ft. Myers Beach for dinner the other nights. This condo is great for a relaxing getaway. If you like a great deal of nightlife right at your doorstep, this may not be the place for you. But it was perfect for what we wanted.Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway.

I took my family here for spring break this year. First off I found the owner to be very flexible. Our plane wasn't leaving until 8 PM and he had no problem with us staying later than the scheduled out time. The condo itself is beautiful and my wife said it was decorated just as she would decorate it. The carpet in the living room made it feel very homey. The master bed is so comfortable! The resort is very well kept. We didn't use much on property except the pool and I must say it was very peaceful and relaxing. You are a little away from the action at the condo but my teenage daughters didn't mind because they din't have to compete for space at the pool and beach. We are always somewhat apprehensive when renting on line but I will tell you, if I go back to Ft. Myers we would definetly stay here again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

A week in Florida is not enough! This condo has every convenience and having basic supplies furnished makes it just about perfect! Paper products, soaps, lots of towels, pillows, comfortable furniture and beds, local information, all contribute to an almost effortless visit. The description of everything was right-on accurate. Seeing it was even better! Loved the door-lock convenience and not having to worry with keys. May try to do this at home. I knew I could contact Steve if any problems, but there were none. The location of the resort is convenient to everything in the Ft.Myers, Ft.Myers Beach, Sanibel, Captiva area, and getting from and to the airport is easy. A great vacation property! We loved staying at Sanibel Harbour! This property is next door to the resort, in one of the privately owned condo buildings. The condo has EVERYTHING you need except for food! We stayed for one month, and there wasn't anything else we needed...in the kitchen, bedrooms, or bathrooms! Linens, soaps, detergents, etc. were all provided! The place is beautifully decorated and very spacious. The quiet beach is practically at your doorstep...as well as the pool. We saw dolphins in the bay, while sitting on the lanai, multiple times while we were there. The property is the last stop before the causeway over to Sanibel and Captiva. So the islands are easy to get to. One of the nicest surprises I found was a brand new SuperTarget only 10 minutes away! Although we didn't have any problems, Steve was easy to reach and checked in with us frequently. He was very flexible in arranging crib set-up for our toddlers, with an outside rental company. We had a great time and have already recommended his place to friends and family! Thanks Steve!Recommended for: Families with young children

We just got back from a 5 night stay at this condo and it was just perfect...better than we had expected. It is beautifully decorated, very clean, and has all of the comforts of home - kitchen fully stocked, linens, extra towels, etc. The view from the lanai was amazing and adds to the relaxing feel of the condo. We stayed at the condo with two young children - the facilities at the resort were great (kids menus at the hotel pool, nice pools at the condo and hotel, calm beach with enough sand to play in, etc) and the size of the condo worked great for naps, etc. The owner made everything so easy and was great to deal with. We will be back again - may make this an annual family vacation!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My girlfriends and I came for 5 days of relaxation. We are all working mothers and just needed some down time. This was perfect. We stayed somewhere else in Fort Myers in the past, and Steve's place was much more comfortable and homey. The decor in the condo is wonderful! The resort is just before you go over the bridge to Sanibel Island. We went in September, so we pretty much had the pool to ourselves which is what we wanted. We just took down our drinks, food, and books to the pool each day and made a day of it. The condo is on the 2nd floor, so it's not like it's a long walk. The Publix grocery store is close by and we just grabbed groceries there. We also ordered dinner in one night and Steve has the menus in the kitchen drawer. We ate at The Beached Whale and had the crunchy grouper sandwich(one of the best you will get!) We also ate at Parrot Key and the jerk chicken and Ahi Tuna were to die for! Steve also has tags to get pool towels over at the main pool which is nice because then you don't have to pack any. Steve greeted us at the condo with the code to get in. That's another great feature. No keys to worry about losing! The showers were great. Lots of hot water. The beds were unbelievably comfortable. I like to sleep with a fan and there was one in the condo. Sofas and chairs are comfy too. I called Steve a couple of times with questions and he was ready with answers. We wanted to rent chick flicks one night and he gave us great directions on how to get to the nearest Blockbuster. Oh which reminds me that we had take out from the chinese place by Blockbuster and it was really good. A couple of things I do want to mention is that if you are someone who likes to walk the beach for a mile or two in the morning, the beach doesn't give you that far to walk due to the fishing piers at the resort. If that's not your thing, than there's nothing to worry about. Lastly, we figured out what No-see-ums were this year. We had never experienced them before and they are sand fleas. Some people are not bothered by them, but two out of the four of us were. We would suggest packing bug spray or Skin So Soft from Avon and I would say spray it on before going outside. If you don't take it with you, stop by Publix grocery store and buy some before you get to the condo. As pesky as these little things are, they did not ruin our vacation by any means! A++++ place to stay!!! We'll be back! Thanks again Steve!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Our family of 4 really enjoy Sanibel Harbour and Resort because it has got everything anyone would ever want when vacationing in Florida and... we especially loved this condo! The view from the condo is amazing. You see the ocean as soon as you walk in the condo door, with an ocean view from the living room and kitchen, as well the Master bedroom. The view includes several palm trees and mangroves to provide diversity in the view. If you like to watch boats sail and motor by, this is the place! The balcony overlooking the ocean is very wide and can accommodate several people, with a large table for seating as well as additional lounge chairs. You will get a sunset view every night, as the condo faces the west....awesome! The condo is very nicely decorated, very comfortable and very clean. The kitchen has every imaginable appliance, utensil, flatware and dinnerware one needs should one decide to buy supplies at the grocery store and make this condo your temporary home. The swimming pools are always set at a comfortable temperature. The main pool, which also has a hot tub, has a bar and snack bar, while the pools closer to the condos are smaller and don't have food or beverages close by, but perhaps provide more privacy or lower noise level. The condo sits right on the beach, which is private to condo owners and visitors, and has plenty of lounge chairs available to soak up the sun. The resort has clay tennis courts as well as a spa, with a garden walk spread throughout the complex. The food from the restaurant and snack bar is very good. Get yourself a special blended cocktail from the pool bar while you are there....excellent! Shopping and restaurants to satisfy every family member's tastes are close by and easy to find, with Sanibel and Captiva Islands only a short drive away, as well as Fort Myers Beach. If you like access to the internet, I had no problem finding a network connection. I'm pretty sure that the Sanibel Harbour resort would be able to help accommodate any internet or office needs if additional assistance is necessary. Our family could not be happier with this Condo, as well as the Sanibel Harbour & Resort Facilities!!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our family stayed at this condo for our spring break vacation. We absolutely loved the condo. It was very well appointed with beautiful furnishings and very comfortable for our family of five. The view was amazing and watching the dolphins and manatees were an extra perk. Steve was a wonderful host and even provided a few extras in the Kitchen (dishwashing soap and detergent, Sweet and Low, coffee filters, etc.). We especially liked the keyless entry - which was essential with 2 teenagers! The lanai was one of our favorite places to eat breakfast or to sit and read. The grounds of the resort are well maintained and the beaches are very nice. We liked the location being so close to the outlet mall, grocery store and easy access to Sanibel Island. We have already reccommended this property to friends.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Having rented from private owners for a few years now, I know quality...and this is it. It was Great! No problems, nicely decorated, comfortable, many activities (or none if you just want to lay on the beach). We're glad we "rested up" here to tackle Orlando later in the week. Many new restaurants, grocery stores, and outlet mall are close by. It's like having a private beach too. The owner, Steve came by quickly to supply sofabed sheets and also replaced two burned out lightbulbs in the master. We'll definitely remember this as a wonderful stay.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Searching over the Internet for just the right accomodations for a Florida getaway trip can be a very time consuming project! There are so many from which to choose. This unit seemed to be what we wanted....but once we got there, it was far more perfect than we'd ever dreamed. The villa's furnishings are VERY nice, and the king bed mattress is simply dreamy. The lanai is picturesque and has comfortable seating. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need including pens, note paper and scissors. You can enjoy the beach and pool closeby or take a short walk down to the resort and use that pool. We enjoyed several lunches at the restaurant by the resort pool and especially liked their homemade chicken salad and fruit plate! Their evening dinner cruise for $55/per person was a bargain...two hour sunset boat ride, friendly staff, and tasteful food. There were only 20+ guests on the boat the evening we went. There's a Publix grocery store just a few miles away. In the same center with Publix is a great restaurant (don't recall the name) that serves lunch and dinner and has evening piano entertainment. For the seven days of our stay we had six days of 75-80 degree weather, bright and sunny, and no humidity. Ahhh..... There's a $6 toll to cross the bridge onto Sanibel and Captiva, and we went twice during our week. Once was for shopping, sight seeing and lunch (Lazy Flamingo at Sanibel) and once for dinner (Key Lime Bistro at Captiva). Didn't see Jimmy Buffatt at either place, but the entertainer at Key Lime sure sounded a lot like Jimmy!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Upon arrival I was so impressed with the beautiful, tropical and well kept grounds and resort area. The condo was decorated beautifully and was so clean and well maintained. The view of the water from the patio was breath taking. The staff at the resort was wonderful and the food was outstanding. Perfect location . SUN.. BEACH...PRIVACY... My family of four, being all adults, got lost in this large condo. Decorated beautifully. Large functional kitchen . Washer and dryer .Large master bedroom with lani entrance to breathtaking view of the beach. Eveyrthing listed on this rental was truthful, all the way down to plush towels. Seeing is believing....I have recommended this condo to my family and friends, and would love to visit it again. The owner, Steve, was very accommadating to my husband and I, he went so far as to help us with directions and arears of interest for our family. The condo was spotless. The grounds were beautiful. We walked every morning, after we enjoyed coffee on the lani, looking over the ocean, waiting for the dolphins to swin by.....we still talk about our Chrsitmas vaction in Paradise!
