Why the Owner Chose LakeheadWe fell in love with sounds of cascading water, cool evenings, and extreme privacy, yet still being just minutes to Shasta Lake and shopping. We are sure you will enjoy this home as much as we do!
The Unique Benefits at this HouseOur kids love to go swimming/rock climbing at their choice of water falls on a nice warm summer day. A good hike is just out the back door. There are trails that go for miles. My favorite is the one that leads to the top of Sacramento Mountain. The views are breath taking. Fishing for trout in the creek is another one of our favorite past times. Star gazing at night while listening to the rushing water on the back deck really takes us away from it all.

We are originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota. We moved to the Redding area in 2006. One of our favorites spots to go was the Mountains of the Shasta lake area. In 2007, we had the rare opportunity to purchase this home and 80 acres on two year round creeks. We're glad we bought it and try to spend as much time as we can there.

We had been looking for a vacation home like this for years and finally found it here! The big waterfall with crystal clear, cool water right in the front yard was picture perfect. We loved that we could hike on the trails right from the home to the surrounding mountains. Absolutely bueatiful. Make sure to check out the "Sneaky Falls" swimming hole. We will definitely be back. Our family recently stayed at this property for our very first family re-union. We had family that came from all over. Overall, I think that we all had a really good time and we certainly will be doing it again. The property is remote, however, we all enjoyed not having any human neighbors. We did have some issues, however the owner was very quick to resolve them. The house is very comfortable and we did not have to worry about the children that stayed destroying the house. It was very much like home. We all enjoyed our hikes, the creeks, the waterfall and all of the beautiful butterflies. Thank-you Jerry, for a very memorable vacation

Our group had an excellent time at this house. Plenty of room for all 6 of us. This is a beautiful private location with all the amenities we needed. So may things to do in the area and right on the property. Those of us who wanted to relax were very pleased with the peaceful setting, while the explorers in the group went out and did exploring deep into the property and the many attractions in the area. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed the house and the surrounding property. Very relaxing and all amenities were provided. Rooms were spacious and house was clean. A bit of a drive to get to the property but worth the travel. Owner was accommodating with extra people and considerate. Thanks Jerry!
