Your beautiful, oceanfront condo is located in the Georgetowne building on the 3rd floor in the Sea Colony Beach and Tennis Resort. You will have a glorious unencumbered view of the ocean and the beach, yet a close-in feel at just three floors up. The condo overlooks one of the Sea Colony's nine outdoor pools, and we hear from our guests that they love having their older children swim and play at the guarded pool, yet being able to have a line-of-sight to where they are. The building is serviced by two newly replaced elevators and, having an abundant supply of wheeled luggage carts, loading and unloading is a breeze. The condo comes with a covered reserved parking spot, plus a second unreserved space.
The condo has three bedrooms. The Master Bedroom is 14' x 12' with a queen sized bed and a master bath with tub. The second bedroom is 13' x 11' with another queen bed. The third bedroom (which is 12' x 13') has bunk beds and one twin bed. The second recently upgraded bathroom serves the second and third bedrooms as well as guests. The L-shaped living room/dining room area has a 15' x 15' living room space with a large sectional sleep sofa, 52 inch flat screen TV with cable including several premium channels, and a Blu-ray DVD player that is compatible with Netflix and Blockbuster video streaming (owner will need their own video membership in order to use). The dining room (10' x 8') has ample table that seats eight. The kitchen is recently updated with new appliances, silestone counter-tops, and a sink relocated to overlook the ocean view. Porcelain tile flooring is installed in all rooms except the bedrooms which are newly carpeted. A comfortable balcony with table and chairs and 2 adirondack chairs completes the accommodations and overlooks the promenade, pool, and beach. Your condo includes high speed internet access, both wired and wireless for your convenience.
While the beach alone is a great asset, Sea Colony has a number of special resort like characteristics offering something for everyone. First, it is a world-class tennis resort that is ranked tenth best tennis resort (and the best bargain among those) by Tennis Magazine and is ranked thirteenth overall by Tennis Resorts Online. There are 34 courts including 4 indoor and 12 lighted outdoor courts. In addition to offering professional tennis instruction, there are tennis camps for the children. Speaking of the children, Sea Colony has a day camp available during your stay, evening bonfires, organized pool activities, sand castle contests, dodgeball mania, kids night out, two indoor pools for those infrequent rainy days, and other special events during the week. Finally, the Bethany Beach area offers a huge variety of recreational options including golf, biking, hiking, fishing, and water sports. A short ride away you can find Ocean City (a good place to take the kids for an outing to access the boardwalk and amusement rides) and Rehoboth Beach which has an unusually elegant offering of restaurants with a smaller boardwalk and a very nice amusement park that is a real treat the younger children.

Even in off season this is a wonderful condo to stay at. The location is fantastic and the view is awesome. The condo has everything you need and we look forward to visiting again real soon.

We stayed at the condo in August & had a great stay. The condo has EVERYTHING you can need & is very clean & well decorated. We all loved the view from the master bedroom & balcony & how you can come back for lunch & then go back to the beach again. The one negative is how crowded the private beach gets where you literally sitting almost on top of other families. We went to Rehobeth for the boardwalk & rides & also to the town of Bethany in the evenings. Mini-golf is also a few miles away.
Recommended for:Age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.

We stayed at 309 Georgetowne from June 15-20. The condo is beautiful and everything you could need is here. The view is terrific and you are just steps to a beautiful beach. All the renters comments are accurate about the condo and the facility. My children (3) loved the beach, pools and the tennis courts. There is so much to do here and you are just a few miles from Ocean City, Maryland if you would like to visit the boardwalk. I give this condo and Sea Colony a 5 star review. I hope we can make it back next summer.
