We escaped a power outage in our Seattle area home and discovered how enchanting a winter beach getaway can be. The views from the main living areas in this home are amazing -- sitting by the fire place with a cup of coffee in the morning or glass of wine in the evening while watching the waves crash couldn't be anymore relaxing. There is enough space for everyone, the kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfy and the beach is a step out the door. We had fun exploring during the day, playing games by the fire at night and came home much more relaxed and excited to book our next trip to this lovely house. I highly recommend this special house for all seasons - you won't be disappointed.

We spent New Year's weekend here with some friends. Highlights were fireworks on the beach that we picked up on the way in, and a polar bear dip in the sound in the morning. The place is beautifully situated right on the water. Days were spent walking on the beach, evenings were cozy with the fireplace looking out over the sound. A morning walk out the front of the house revealed excellent views of Mount Baker. Our dog looved being able to run around on the beach all day. The place is great for a family or close friends as most of the beds are in one room with a loft. This was an easy and quick drive from Seattle with the opportunity to stop in Bellingham for "supplies" from Boundary Bay Brewery. The owner was very helpful and responsive. I would definitely recommend a stay here!

This was a fun little house with a stellar view and good access to activities. Kids would do well if they can play in the loft and run around on the beach, and it's very dog-friendly.

In August, our family of 7 ....make that 8 (including our dog, Daisy) stayed a week in this comfortable home. A beautiful location....you are just steps from the water. We spent lots of relaxing days and evenings out on the deck, then built a fire in the firepit and enjoyed watching the sun go down. We had great weather...the sunsets were spectacular. Plenty of rooms and places for everyone to sleep. Washer and dryer was really a plus. So many things to do in the area....whale watching, kayaking, site seeing in the San Juan islands and Bellingham. Even went to a local county fair. Was a great time! There is a local seafood store just a couple of miles away from the house that Bill recommended. We purchased fresh seafood almost every day.... Paired that with some of the items from Bellingham's wonderful Farmer's Market and had great meals. Would certainly come and stay again. One of our best family vacations ever!

We spent Thanksgiving weekend at this wonderful cottage. We had just enough room for 2 families with 4 kids total and 2 dogs to all have their own spaces. The views from the main living areas are so vivid you feel like you are in a house boat. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable and the living spaces are cozy and inviting. The kids and dogs loved playing on the beach which was as easy as stepping out the back door. We would love to come back in the summer & experience the outdoor living spaces more. Thank you for sharing your amazing home with us.

We just spent the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend at this lovely beach house. The owners were great to deal with, were accessible regarding questions, and the house itself was well laid out and nicely decorated and stocked. It felt like a home. The deck and BBQ were great as we had lovely weather over the day so we chatted outside on the deck chairs - and the view from the living room and deck is stunning. Walks along the beach, sitting by the gas fireplace putting a puzzle together, playing cards.... They are also very dog friendly and the cabin is designed with that in mind. The photos are accurate, the only thing missing in the photos is their big round dining table next to the kitchen which was wonderful for cards and dinner. We would go back.

Our family came to Bellingham for a weekend of Soccer at a local tournament and to visit Western University. We fell in love! the house is just as it is pictured. The beds are comfortable and there is plenty of room. The kitchen is perfect and the beach is just steps away. The local fish market can provide you with fresh fish dinner and the neighbors are sooo friendly. We will be back next year.

This was our second time staying at this cottage but with different family members. It suited everyone perfectly from our dog, to our young children to our parents so there's something for everyone. The cottage is right on the beach and we had a campfire one evening which was just magical. We also visited the seafood shop on several occasions and had a wonderful BBQ. The cottage is in a brilliant location for shopping, the beach and the casino and it's very spacious. We'd definately recommend this cottage to anyone and will hopefully return for a third time.

This is one of the best places my husband and I have stayed at so far. The house had so much room for guests that you literally had privacy at times from others staying with you. I highly recommend this to all that are interested in spending time at the beach. The house sits right on the water and is dog friendly. We bought seafood at the local seafood shop and had a fish feast. I loved this place so much that I actually looked at the houses in the area for sale. Loved every minute of it :)
