Toccoa Camp is at the end of the road where Toccoa Camp Trail terminates at the gates of this one and only private gated community and Toccoa Camp Guest Lodge is at the end of the road sitting on Hot House Creek inside Toccoa Camp. At Toccoa Camp we have taken great care to preserve and bring back the wildlife by eliminate erosion and recapture all of our stream banks into a natural state. With this commitment to the wildlife and the serenity of Toccoa Camp, you may just be so busy all week just identifying our birds, looking for the turkeys, deer, watching our trout break the water and walking our trails down Hot House Creek or Toccoa Camp Trail that you never get to that book. Toccoa Camp Guest Lodge is not only located in the North Georgia Mountains is at the intersection point of these two famous southeastern trout streams but it is truly at the end of the road.
With four gorgeous bedroom suites and its own viewing deck of the creek and river, sit with your cup of coffee and enjoy the views out of every room. In addition, there is a living room with stacked stone fireplace with gas logs, a large dining room for 10-12, a huge gourmet kitchen, a pool room and game table area all overlooking the water through giant beautiful custom designed windows, framing this one and only lodge setting. Whether you want to fly fish, sit down by the creekside, swim, tube, fish, hike or kayak, or just play yard games in the large grassy lawn, this property offers something for everyone!
This lodge is also an Earth Craft House Green Certified Home and Energy Star Certified. The custom AIA designed craftsmanship of the builder and the attention to detail truly makes this a home of luxury but yet comfortable. The decorator furnishings are beautiful, with custom built totally green cabinets through-out and a designer kitchen that boasts granite counter tops with a breakfast bar amd hand crafted kitchen cabinets. Beautiful,Stainless Steel LG high end appliances complete this gourmet kitchen. A grill is also included in your stay amd the Lodge has 3 Flat Screen TVs, dvd player, DishNet and free WiFi if you come inside off the portch or your outdoor activities.
The Master bedroom contains a king size bed, and the master bath includes a jetted tub, walk in shower with private enclosed commode, double vanity and a private door that opens to the custom deck on the creek. The other three bedroom suites are steeped in luxury with private showers and another Jacuzzi tub. Two of the suites offer queen size beds. The upstairs bedroom hosts two twin beds, perfect for the kids. There is also a separate sitting room with a pull-out sofa that can be used as another bedroom. Included in your stay is a Laundry Room with washer and dryer and iron and ironing board. You can occupy comfy chairs, sit on the massive porch deck in your rocker, or jump in the hot tub for a relaxing evening with a glass of wine! There is a game table if you'd like to play cards, chess, checkers or have a place to put together a puzzle. If you need to conduct business during your stay, bring your laptop and sit overlooking the creek with free WiFi.
If you prefer to exercise, walk the private roads or hiking trails for miles down Hot House Creek through the woods along the creek. Enjoy great conversations with friends in front of the fireplaces. If you want the whole family to learn to fly fish, we have turnkey teaching, equipment and assistance available by the half day or day. If you bring your own equipment, just walk out the door 50 feet into the river or the creek. The only thing we require is that you release the fish you catch to help protect North Georgia’s only National Wildlife Federation Certified Habit.
