This home is comfortable and welcomes you in as you step through the front door. It was built in 1968 with all the original features that make this unique. You can watch the sunset from the decks, then enjoy watching the stars pop out at night with clarity you may not be use to seeing. You can make the home any temperature you want it to be with the zoned central heating system. The 5 living room recliners one being a massage chair, the 42" flat screen LR TV and the two bedroom Flat Screen TV's and the wood burning fireplace all make for a great mountain evening. All the beds have cozy down comforters on them and feel good. It is only 4 miles to the Alpine village if you prefer dining out or you can cook in the well equipped quaint kitchen or grill out on the deck. The Art Institute is a nice place to enjoy plays, concerts and performances. During the snow months there are endless places to play and walk or hike in the snow even cross country snow walking. Mountain climbing, hiking and rock climbing are abundant here.

Year Purchased: 2004
I love the mountains and the serene atmosphere they provide. Angels Landing is secluded in among tall pine trees, huge oak trees and sweet smiling cedar with unlimited views from the decks to the valley below. I am a grandmother and I love company. A very quiet young couple live on the lower floor and they help me out when I need help. It all works nice. The wild life is amazing. Deer, racoon, all kinds of birds busy with their life, squirels, coytes and an occassional Bob Cat. You wake up to views in any room you are in. I hope you come and visit here.
Why the Owner Chose Idyllwild
This is in a secluded quiet area but only 4 minutes from the business of the small alpine village. It has a unlimited views of the valley below from two decks, a huge flat parking space for 5 to 6 cars. This cabin was build in 1968 and has all the charm of that era, it has vaulted ceilings in the living area big windows showing the mountains beyond. It is only l hour from the luxury of Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, San Diego and only 2 hours from Orange County and Los Angeles and the beaches.
