Our 2-story beach house has a great room upstairs with a full size sleeper sofa, full kitchen, eating area, wood stove, 1/2 bath and sliding door to the wrap-around balcony. Downstairs there are 2 bedrooms with 2 queen size beds, a bonus room with 2 cots (twin size, appropriate for children) and a full bath and laundry closet.
There is a long driveway leading to the large back yard. The property is surrounded by trees and shrubs, providing privacy for your visit.
You can walk approx. 5 minutes to the beach entrance at the end of Crab Avenue, which gives you access to Netarts Bay. This beach offers a wonderful view of the bay and the ocean just beyond it. Seals sun themselves on sandbars nearby and frolic in the bay. Walk north on the beach 1/4 mile and you will see where Netarts Bay and the Pacific Ocean meet.
North of Netarts 2 miles is Oceanside, another small town with a public beach parking lot and beach access. Sea Stars and other sea life can be seen at low tide on the rocks and cliffs at Oceanside.
Netarts is a quiet, slow town that allows you to slow down and relax. The area around Netarts offers plenty of activity when you want it: Tillamook, Oceanside, Pacific City offer activities and sightseeing. Sand Lake offers an ATV area, Cape Lookout provides a wonderful view of the Pacific Ocean, Cape Meares State Scenic Viewpoint offers breathtaking views of the ocean and nesting birds on nearby rocks, as well as the Cape Meares Lighthouse.
Basic food shopping can be done in Netarts. Tillamook offers a wider variety of larger grocery stores and shops.
