A perfect rental experience

This beautiful home was ideal for our two week stay in Orange County. The photographs and the details provided on the web site were accurate and we were more than pleased with the fabulous accommodations, pool, jacuzzi and the marvelous view. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds very comfortable and the provision of a GPS for renters really helped us out a lot. Whenever we had a question our needs were met practically immediately. Super place! We will definitely try to rent this property on our next trip to the area.

perfect vacation home

My new wife and I were concerned about finding just the right vacation rental home for my Pennsylvania family while they were in town for our wedding. Well, we couldn't have been happier with our choice. The house was perfectly accommodating, clean and neat, well maintained, tastefully decorated, fun gameroom in the garage, all amenities included and thoughtful touches all around. (And the owners were very professional and friendly to work with, nice and helpful in all regards.) Also the central location was ideal, as my family split up for trips to the beach and Disneyland. But I'd have to say we were most impressed by the rental home's back patio area -- pool, spa, gazebo, BBQ -- and the amazing view. Every day and evening had that "resort feeling," and made for a truly magical and memorable vacation. All in all, we couldn't have picked a better place to stay.

We stayed at this house end of July for a week and loved every minute of it. The pool was just perfect.. we couldn't get our three sons out of it! The spa was also beautiful, lovely and warm and we spent many evenings just relaxing and gazing out over amazing views. It is just breathtaking. The location is fabulous and we were able to visit everywhere that we'd planned without any problems. Keith was also very welcoming with any questions that we had, not that we had many as he'd covered everything in his welcome pack. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone wishing to visit Orange County. Do not pass this one by!

We just returned from a 15 night stay at Keith and Eileen's beautiful home. Our age group was from 1 - 55 and everyone had a wonderful time. There was plenty of room for all of us. The yard and view is fantastic, the pictures don't do it justice. Thanks again Keith!

Beautiful Vacation Home! Photos do not do it justice!

There were 6 of us (two families) who stayed at this home for our vacation in October 2010. Upon entering the house and exploring, we were all blown away by how beautiful and well kept it was. Everything was super clean and looked new. The way that the house is decorated makes you feel like you are vacationing in luxury. Some things have been changed/updated since the photos above were taken. For one thing, the downstairs master bedroom has been redone and is just beautiful with red and black accents and decor. The Playstation 2 upstairs made my husband happy and he didn't even need to bring any of his own games-- they had just what he was looking for already at the house! The same is true for DVDs. Also, had I known that the house came equipped with it's own children's toys (megablocks and trucks specifically), I would not have wasted suitcase space on toys for my two year old! This house has everything! We have stayed at other VRBO properties where we have had to go out and buy our own dish soap, hand soap, toilet paper, etc., but everything was already provided! Not to mention, when we wanted to cook and serve dinner, all the utensils and cooking equipment was all there too (from pizza rollers to a bread load pan-- we used it all!). We had a small issue on the first day when we blew a fuse in the house. We contacted Keith and he got right back to us. He was extremely helpful, pleasant to talk to, and insisted we call him if we needed anything at all. If we ever have the good fortune of being able to vacation in SoCal again, we would definitely rent this home a second time! Thank you Keith & Eileen!

Great family home

We stayed in this house for 6 nights and loved it. The house feels just like a family home and not a holiday house. The little touches make it feel like your house and our son really liked the dog in the lounge! The house is much bigger than the pictures show, especially the master suite which has 2 large closets and large en-suite. The house is on a very quiet cul-de-sac but still close enough to the major roads to easily get to the local attractions – Disneyland and beaches are less than 30 minutes away. The back garden is beautiful with a great pool with waterfalls. In the evening with the lights on it is so peaceful after a long day walking around the parks. The views from the house and yard are wonderful – looking out over the massive south-LA suburban area. We did notice that the air conditioning was very good as it was definitely needed when temperatures rose to 44C (113F)! We would thoroughly recommend the house to any family or friends visiting the area.

My family and I came from New Jersey for our first trip, ever, to California. Even though we saw photos on-line, nothing could prepare us for this fabulous house and spectacular view from the backyard. Every amenity was thought of from the GPS to the pool towels, a beautifully stocked kitchen, bathroom items and a special bottle of wine and welcome note from our most accommodating home owners. Keith and Eileen could not be more helpful and caring. It truly was a wonderful experience dealing with them. Our favorite food store was Von's where a very nice cashier gave us a member card. We wanted to pass it on to the next renters so we left it by the big pig! (You'll know what I mean.) We had delightful high seventies weather while back in New Jersey it was freezing with high winds. Needless to say, we did not want to leave. Thanks for a truly special and memorable vacation.

Our Favourite Holiday Location

We have now had three fantastic holidays in this perfect location and cannot recommend it highly enough. From the minute we arrived we felt relaxed and exhilarated at the same time! The house itself is very welcoming, comfortable, immaculate and well decorated throughout but we will never forget stepping out of the back door for the first time and seeing the pool, dining and barbecue area with an amazing unbroken view all over Orange County. The view is stunning by day and absolutely spectacular at night - we would always want to use this home for holidays as we have been so spoiled with our experiences there to date. I am sure that, if we went anywhere else, we would always compare it unfavorably with this home! The house is located in a lovely quiet, residential cul-de-sac, where you feel very safe and secure. Although there are many restaurants close by, we always look forward to just getting back after a day at the beach, sightseeing, shopping or visiting theme parks and enjoying a dip in the pool followed by a BBQ. Sitting in the garden as dusk falls, watching the thousands of lights starting to go on in the distance, is so peaceful. You don't give a thought to work, school or worries of your life back home. This home provides the perfect escape for anyone who needs to get away from it all! You can even sit in the jacuzzi watching the Disney Fireworks each night! We have used this home as our base to travel by car to so many fantastic places: Las Vegas, San Diego and San Francisco. Closer to home you have Disneyland, Los Angeles, Universal Studios, Knotts Berry Farm, Magic Mountain and the beautiful beach resorts: Newport, Venice, Laguna and Huntingdon. These are all great attractions but on our last holiday, we mostly just chilled at the house and enjoyed sunbathing and relaxing. One of the things we enjoy most about staying here is the genuine courtesy and warmth of the people we meet wherever we go. The owners of the house must take great credit for looking after us so well by ensuring that we have everything we need and sharing their knowledge and experience of living in this area. We will always be grateful to them for providing us with this home to enjoy holiday memories with our teenage son which we will always treasure.

Family of 5 Visiting from the UK

We stayed at this property in August 08 for 3 weeks and had a great time it was the best decision we made rather than booking into a hotel, from the moment we walked in we felt at home. The location is superb and on a quiet street and close to everything you need which was fantastic, restaurants and shops are just down the hill. Disney is only a short drive away as is Knotts Berry farm which the kids also loved and what was also great was being able to sit in the jacouzzi every night watching the Disney fireworks but not actually hearing them, this was a great way to relax especially after a long day at one of the parks. We spent a lot of time in the backyard the pool was fantastic and my kids had a great time playing in it. The backyard area is gorgeous and we ate out a lot of nights using the huge barbecue. The property is very spacious and clean and the owners Eileen and Keith were superb we couldn't fault them. They were very helpful with anything we needed and recommended some great places to visit and really good restaurants (we would definately recommend the Cheese Cake Factory which was a firm family favourite) that we probably wouldn't have found without them and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. The beds were really comforatable and the whole house was well equiped. It is also really close to loads of nice beaches and L.A which was great to see all the sights we also went to Long Beach and Sea World and it was all within easy reach as the freeway was not far so really easy to get anywhere. We would highly recommend this property to anyone thinking of going to California the only downside was having to leave and go home we will definately be coming again with some other friends as well next time as there is plenty of room for us all.
