I can't say enough about our stay. It was fantastic!! The house is beautiful and the inside was just as it showed in the pictures. We were able to find everything we needed. It would be great to come in the summer when we could use all the amenities available. We were able to go skiing and to the hot springs which were alot of fun. We would definately recommend this property as a get away!!!Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

Our family group of seven adults had a GREAT stay at Property 249174. The "cabin" was actually a mansion with well appointed spacious rooms. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was equipped with all the right things. Amazing microwave. We especially enjoyed the pool table in the basement and the gazebo on the deck. We made lots of use of the nearby tennis courts and swimming pool. We enjoyed two of the hiking trails and one of the nearby golf courses. The owner was very approachable and helpful. We would definitely like to stay here again!Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

This is a nice location for a secluded getaway. The property is suitable for families. There are lots of family friendly activities nearby as well. My only complaint is that there was an ant infestation which my family was not notified about. Many attempts were made to notify owner and I received minimal replies with no compensation or resolution. I would NOT recommend this property if the bug problem still exists. I am also disappointed in the owner's neglect towards this problem. Its not fun to be sleeping with ants crawling everywhere...including in your bed, food and floors. This cabin appears to be a really luxurious and relaxing getaway. If the problem has not been resolved, you might as well save your money and go camping instead!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.
Owner response: We did not have any infestation of any sort. The property was inspected twice during the guess stay at the cabin and all we could find were(cookie crumbs) on the floor and lots of pop/alcohol spills which can attract any insect if not cleaned up. Our guess prior and right after were very pleased with the property and our services.

We had very good time there, every thing was so clean and elegant. We enjoyed pool table and nice deck and backyard very much. We will come back for sure.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

We enjoyed the spaciousness of your cabin. Everyone (12 people) had a place to sleep. The kids found many great hide and seek places inside and out in the yard. The kitchen had amble room for us to cook full meals. We were a bit frustrated with the heating as it wasn't working efficiently during our stay.Recommended for: Families with young children.

To have 12 of us sleep comfortably was wonderful. The backyard was big enough to throw the baseball and play bocce awhile having a great fire. To have a kitchen, a BBQ, and a firepit there was no problem with any of us having to eat. The neighborhood is very nice with kind neighbors and awesome trails all around the block. I would recommend this place to any family or group of friends looking for a peaceful fun getaway!Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

About the owner: We were looking for a place to put our feet up from this crazy and fast life that we live in. One day, as I was taking a walk down the street with a friend I saw this little run down house. I just had to have it. It needed lots of work and lots of love but we bought this house because of the location and character it brings out from all of us.
Why the Owner Chose Fairmont Hot Springs:
This house is located in Dutch Creek Community set on the mountain side with many paths and near the Dutch creek river. The sound of the birds and the creek in the morning and the evening is very southing and relaxing to us. The atmosphere is so peaceful and very warming every time we visit. All the wild life activity is so amazing to watch and takes you to another world all together. You soon forget what life is like in the big city.
