Relax and enjoy the coastal lifestyle in this beautiful 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo furnished in comfortable Southern Coastal style. Fully-appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, separate ice maker, wine cooler, Margarita machine! Living area has 47" flat screen TV, Bose stereo, BluRay DVD player and CD player. Dining area seats 6 and overlooks the marina and Intracoastal Waterway. Three barstools at the kitchen counter provide additional seating. Both bedrooms are equipped with flat screen TV's and DVD players. A DVD and CD collection is available for your use during your stay. Covered balcony has a bistro table that seats 4, two additional chairs with ottomans, and a stainless steel natural gas grill. This is a great place to watch dolphins cruising the Intracoastal while drinking your morning coffee or evening glass of wine! Separate laundry area with stackable washer & dryer.
The Wharf is a 220-acre resort that includes over 15 restaurants and many specialty shops, a 15-screen RAVE movie theater, a 10,000-seat amphitheater that features top national acts and legendary bands, a zip-line and ropes course, 36-foot inflatable water slide, a world-class 208-slip marina with half a mile of boardwalk, an 18-hole championship golf course for the exclusive use of the condo owners and guests of The Wharf (off site), fitness center, and a conference center. The Oasis, The Wharf’s tropical pool area, is a little corner of paradise featuring 3 pools -- a zero-entry wave pool, lagoon pool, and the Gulf Coast’s largest lazy river -- waterfalls, sandy beaches, activity pool area (including what we Hoosiers call “the hoop pool” aka basketball!), hot tub, hammock island, and tiki bar. When it’s time to relax, your cares will melt away as you float around and around the lazy river. Plenty of large yellow tubes and lounge chairs are available for your use, and towels are provided.
The Outfitter's Center serves as the clubhouse for The Armada Club. It is a plantation-style retreat where you can relax and watch a gorgeous sunset on the Intracoastal from the wrap-around veranda, enjoy an evening with friends in front of the outdoor fireplace at the Palm Pavillion (outdoor entertaining area) and complimentary pre-concert buffets on nights when the amphitheater is hosting one of many performances, enjoy a peaceful afternoon in the comfortably-appointed humidor room on the 2nd floor where you may get an individual locked box for your cigar storage, or shop at the Orvis-endorsed Outfitters on the first floor, the island's premier hunting and fishing outfitter, offering the best selection of name-brand fishing and hunting gear and apparel. Inshore fishing charters may be booked here, or sign up for classes on knot & fly tying, bait fishing, casting, fishing techniques and, for children, the popular School of Fish! Canoes and bicycles are also available for rental.

Why the Owner Chose Wharf
We drove through Orange Beach on our way to Destin, Florida to visit family and fell in love with the area. We were looking for a good investment and a possible retirement home; made an appointment with a realtor who walked us around the 220 acres of a just-started building project that was to last the next 2 years! Sounded like just what we were looking for, so we bought a unit.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
Everything is on the property so, once you stop at one of the many local grocery stores to stock up, you can park your car for the rest of your stay! Free shuttle service will take you around the 220 acres to the pool area (The Oasis), restaurants, movies, shops, Ferris wheel (Main Street area), the conference center, and back to your condo.

We are a Midwestern family that always seems to choose vacation destinations that include water. Mom and daughter love to bask in the sun, while Dad and son prefer to spend the day on the water fishing. Since we have owned this condo, we have enjoyed it as a family, with other adult couples, as a guys trip for fishing & golf, and a ladies getaway for sun & fun & shopping!! We intended it for personal use only (and outfitted it accordingly; there is nothing "rental quality" about this unit), but because of so many requests from friends to rent it, decided to put it in the rental program at the beginning of 2009. We hope you will enjoy it and come back again and again!
