Off Season Rates Start August 15, 2009. Really experience the peace & quiet of nature. This square post & beam vacation home is located "out of town" amidst the scenic beauty of the Black Hills. Total Privacy! Depending on the time of year one neighbor's house can barely seen through the trees.
Master bedroom suite is located on the main floor (Jacuzzi Tub and a Large Shower). Two bedrooms, a full bathroom (tub shower combination) and loft sitting (futon) area upstairs. Half bath with clothes washer and dryer located just off the kitchen. The Great Room has a magnificent rock fireplace and is open to the vaulted tongue and groove wood on the ceiling.

Imagine my delight after a 24 hour car ride from Cincinnati, OH to pull up to your lovely home. It sure was nice to have all the comforts of home in the middle of nowhere! I think we saw everything we could in 5 short days. Mt. Rushmore is truly an amazing site that we will always remember. We are sad to leave your home and South Dakota. But are heading out just in time for the invasion of the bikers. Thanks! God Bless You!

Your home and the beautiful setting was the perfect vacation retreat for our family. We enjoyed having coffee in the morning on the outdoor patio. Also, taking many walks in the morning and early evenings. Our days were kept busy taking our kids to the many area attractions, horseback riding, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Jewel Cave and the helicopter tour were the favorities. In the evening, we BBQ'd and enjoyed the views from the patio.

Your home is beautiful. It is definitely peaceful out here. We went hiking and the kids collected small rocks to take home. Your neighbors are very friendly. We did see some wildlife. Several deer, antelope and one elk.
