Miles of open space trails are right out the door of this three bedroom, two bath architecturally designed timber frame home completed in 2009. A beautiful combination of wood, metal, rock and glass, this new home is intended for both easy living and relaxing entertaining. The modern kitchen is centered within the open floor plan, opening up onto the huge patio and looking out upon Colorado's scenic landscape.
Two nicely sized bedrooms, the laundry room and bathroom are located on one side of the patio, while the master suite has it's own wing on the other side. Vaulted ceilings, two fireplaces, three HD TV's, surround sound, wireless internet, and all the furnished amenities you'd expect in a new, custom designed home.
Built in Whistler Meadows, this home is located about a mile from the base of the Steamboat Ski Area, and the convenient free bus stops just two blocks away. Summer is fantastic in Steamboat as well - with hiking, biking, trail running, boating, fishing, rafting, kayaking, tubing, rodeos, concerts, shopping, etc. - It's all here and the climate is pretty ideal with warm days and cool nights.

I chose to build this new home here because of the quiet location in an established neighborhood adjacent to open space with great views, and close proximity to the ski area. I have lived in many areas around Steamboat through the years, and felt this was a tremendous location.
The Unique Benefits at this House
When staying here, people often say they really like the open floor plan, spacious rooms, attention to detail, quality finishes and so much nature right out the door. They also like opening up the 30 feet of glass doors and really letting the outside in. Being so close to the ski area, yet located in a quiet residential neighborhood is a real plus as well.
Catch the free bus to the ski area or downtown. Located one block from property.

I was very fortunate to grow up here in Steamboat Springs, to be able to ski and ride this beautiful mountain. My travels have taken me both around Colorado and the world, but it's always nice to come home. It's great to have plenty of space for friends and family when they stay, and for anyone else coming to this incredible part of Colorado.
