This is a great little condo with lots of tropical character. What it lacks in ocean view, it makes up for in privacy, inspired architecture, and adult-contemporary decor only 2 blocks' walk to downtown.

Experience California’s greatest little beach town in this upscale, adult-oriented split level two bedroom, one bath condo. A short two-block walk takes you to the Cayucos pier, the downtown shops and local bars & restaurants. This condo has an open floorplan with lots of windows, wood trim, skylights, wood floors, and vaulted ceilings.

This 850 square foot gem feels more like a small home, with a private carport leading to your front door. It's attached along only 1/2 of a single wall to the adjoining condo.......there is no one above, below, or along 3 & 1/2 walls. It's been beautifully painted in pale greens, rich golds and soft peach colors and it has a cute patio with wrap-around privacy foliage.

The interior features an upscale blend of tropical, beachy, whimsical, adult decor. The open living room level has cherry wood floors, vaulted ceilings, a wall of windows, and a floor-to-ceiling fireplace. Three steps up lead to the large kitchen which overlooks the living area, also with cherry wood floors, lots of mirrored counter space, a bright bay window, and all stainless appliances. Despite its very open, light and airy floorplan, there are no outside views into the home because of private, protecting foliage surrounding the exterior. It has the feel of being in a tree house but the entire wall of glass can disappear behind slat blinds for the ultimate in privacy. A western view includes a peak of the ocean just 300 yards away to complete the pretty setting.

Two windowed doors lead from the kitchen to the adjoining private patio deck in nautical decor with comfortable seating and a table top gas B-B-Q. The long 40' continuous wall of the kitchen and living room are entirely windowed, almost from floor to ceiling including the main entry and kitchen doors.

From the kitchen, its up two more steps to the bedroom level and the full bath. Both bedrooms have ample closet space and feature vaulted ceilings. The peach colored master bedroom has a queen four poster bed and walk-in closet.

The second bedroom is the loft overlooking the lower living area 5 steps below. It has a private door entry and there is attractive privacy screening to close off this area from the rest of the home for nighttime comfort and sleeping. Bedding is in the form of a queen-size futon with high quality innerspring mattress. A queen and twin airbed can be made available to create up to 4 separate sleeping areas. There is a four person overnight maximum allowed.

Other amenities of the condo include:
Large 42" flat panel HDTV in the living room; Free premium movie channels featuring the full compliment of over 40 choices (HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, The Movie Channel, Flix, over 150 cable TV channels in total; Sony DVD/CD 5.1 surround sound system in living room; Free wireless internet; Two Printers including laser and an All-In-One/Fax; Complimentary local and long distance calls within reason; Fully stocked kitchen including all utensils, dish and glassware, coffee maker, blender, toaster, microwave, dishwasher; Indoor stacked washer/dryer.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING BEFORE INQUIRING FURTHER ABOUT RESERVATIONS: This condo is a "lived- in" condo by its owner for approximately half of the year. As a primarily residential condo in a very small condo complex, this is not a typical vacation rental. It is critical that all guests respect the quiet nature of this complex and keep noise to a minimum. Because this is part of a small condo association, this is a unique rental opportunity for only those mature guests who are looking for an unrivaled, classy, but QUIET getaway. This condo is best enjoyed by a single individual, one or two responsible adult couples, or a small family of 3 or 4 max.

Pets and smoking are NOT allowed. If you are interested in staying in this condo with the aforementioned restrictions and guidelines, you won’t be disappointed in the unique features and the ambiance of this property. Why the Owner Chose Cayucos

Having "discovered" Cayucos in 1988 and having purchased a vacation rental home there in 1989, it was only natural that I eventually spend considerably more time in this greatest of small California beach towns. It is truly unique and no one who spends time here comes away disappointed.
