This standard-sized two bedroom condo in the Palm Bay Club sleeps six and has a good view of Sarasota Bay. The condo is located on the peaceful bay side and you can watch the boats go up and down the inter-coastal from the condo, pool, hot tub, or pier. When you want the excitement of fabulous Crescent Beach, just walk through the complex and your beach furniture is waiting for you. Sun bathe, swim, boogie board, snorkel, collect shells, or just watch people go by.
The condo has free wireless internet. There is a Verizon FiOS Television Prime Bulk Package with a 15 channel HBO package, a DVR with an HDTV in the living room, a digital set box in the master bedroom with a HDTV and a standard set box with a digital TV in the second bedroom. Each TV has a DVD player.
The kitchen is fully furnished (including refrigerator with ice maker, range, dishwasher, microwave and disposal). The balcony overlooks the bay and pool. The master bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom has a queen bed. Hair driers are furnished in the bathrooms which each have a shower/tub combination. All linens and towels are furnished. The phone has an answering machine but long distance calls are blocked. Palm Bay Club Facilities: Two heated pools, fishing pier, large custom hot tub overlooking the bay, boat docks, barbecue grills, two lighted tennis courts, a recreation room, 2 workout rooms, 2 hot saunas, a private beach with furnished chairs and chaise lounges, 24 hour security, and laundry facilities on each floor.
When you walk on the beach your feet will not get hot because it is one of three quartz beaches in the world. When you are done at the beach and ready to wind down, you and your guests will be able to escape to the quiet comfort of the bayside where there is a pool, large hot tub, boat dock, and fishing pier.
You can also stop at the clubhouse and workout, sit in a sauna, shoot pool, play ping pong, swim in another pool, or play tennis on one of the lighted courts. There is a king bed in the master bedroom and a queen bed in the second bedroom. Wireless internet is free for all you web surfers.
Rent from me directly and we both save money by eliminating the middle man. Most of my business comes from people who have shopped around and from repeat customers. If you have a large group, I also have the adjacent condo ( #45661 ) which sleeps 6 and you can sleep a total of 12 if you rent both condos.
If you elect to rent with me, I take a $500 deposit to reserve the condo. The balance is due one month before arrival and when I get the check I will send you the keys.
Hiking, Biking, Golf, Tennis, Fitness Center, Fishing, Shopping, Restaurants, Live Theater, Cinemas, Museums, Sightseeing, Swimming, Snorkeling/Diving, Boating, Sailing, Water-skiing, Windsurfing, Parasailing, Jet Skiing, Shelling, and biking are all available close by. The condo is conveniently located near area attractions such as the Mote Marine Aquarium, St. Armands Circle, Siesta Village, John & Mable Ringling Museum of Art, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, Sarasota Jungle Gardens, Also Theatre, Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall and Ed Smith Stadium (Cincinnati Reds Spring Training Home) as well as area businesses like Sarasota Memorial Hospital and Sarasota Bradenton International Airport.
There are many golf courses in the Sarasota area. There is a course to challenge everyone.

The condo was great as usual. Everything was as portrayed. We always enjoy staying at the condo.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

I have been back twice! First trip was with my family--we have two small children. The easy access to the beach and pools make every outing so much easier! Having laundry on the same floor was HUGE (having small children, you are always doing laundry!) The bay side was very quiet and the kids loved walking by the huge palm trees! I also returned with my girlfriends for a visit-- we had again a very clean place to stay and a totally different type of vacation-- being close to downtown Siesta Key for eating out and grabbing a drink/listening to music was easy to find! Again, I appreciated how close we were to the hot tub and beach--- great vacation for any type of vacation!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, girls getaway.

I didn't want to review this property because I wanted to make sure it was available the next time I come to Siesta Key. But in all fairness to the owners, I changed my mind..tee hee. Over the past 12 or 13 years, we've stayed at 5 different properties. Palm Bay is by far the prettiest of all of them. This particular unit is very appealing, as it is close to the bay and the pool on the bay. The unit was very clean and supplied more than adequately. There wasn't anything that I needed that wasn't available. Very accomodating to our needs. Will definately put this at the top of my list for my next visit to Siesta. Thanks for a great vacation!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Why the Owner Chose Palm Bay Club:
Siesta Key is a family friendly place that has something for everyone. Sarasota has many cultural venues and the beach is unique in that it is made out of quartz. The Palm Bay Club has the most amenities of any property on the Key. I bought there because I can play all the golf I want to at home but don't have a beach like this one at home.
