Upon arrival at Coastal Breezes you will feel great entering through our security gate and up to the home. Great breezes flow through all rooms as home is built elevated to catch all wind. The kitchen is well equipped for any occasion and entertaining with a large silestone counter surrounded by swivel chairs. Out back we have a large barbeque . Our pool is surrounded by beautiful rock features, fragrant and tropical flowers and a waterfall cascading into the pool. The pool area has large deck with soft grass surrounding all patios. Our 7 person spa is great for watching stars in evening.

You will be very secluded and private and enjoy great sunsets and sunrises from the pool area. Home is close to many local points of interest and local markets. This home is the best place to stay and appreciate tranquility on the island.

We just returned from our trip and the time we spent at this home was wonderful. The home was immaculate - honestly the cleanest rental home we have ever stayed in. Even the washer and dryer were spotless. The beds were very comfortable and the home was well stocked with towels and dishes. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and in the hot tub after a busy day hiking and exploring the island. Really a wonderful place to stay with our family of 7. Thanks to Paul for sharing this wonderful home with us.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers.

I absolutely enjoyed my month long stay at Coastal Breezes in HPP. The town of Kea'au in the Puna district was more than I could have hoped for as far as quaint, quiet, and down-home real hawaiian culture. If your looking for touristy Hawaii, this is not the place to stay. The house and grounds were very clean, gorgeous and comfortable and you couldn't help but really feel at home. I have to admit my favorite part was the pool and hot tub. The salt water pool was so warm and the gradual beach entry was a great design idea. All my guests and myself had so much fun in the pool everyday. The home was very safe and secure and it seemed the neighborhood was the same. The owner was absolutely right when he described the home as "very secluded and private". The location of the home was in perfect position to get to HIlo, Volcanoes National Park, Kapoho and Pahoa towns which are a must to visit. Also its really close to the Macadamia Nut Factory and the Zoo. The owner Paul was easily accessible by phone and was very helpful and took care of any situations that came up at the house right away. This home is great for adults and children and accommodates lots of people comfortably. Plenty of bathroom and beach towels, sheets, pillows, and blankets to go around. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, dished and glasses, etc. Washer and dryer are brand new and come in handy especially when your there for a month. The kitchen and living room combo area was a great hangout for everyone to converge and watch tv, eat, and share the days activities. Although I am now back physically in my hometown San Jose, Ca....my heart and soul are still on the Big Island.
