Our second trip to Costa Rica but out first trip to this region. The property was HUGE! We enjoyed the spaciousness and more than enough room. Rita had the kitchen well stocked of pots and pans, dinnerware, appliances & gadgets (even I shrimp peeler, which I used). The condo was decorated with "great taste" and the beds were really comfy. If you like a view, you can't get any better...3rd floor Penhouse...WOW!!!!!! Daily we enjoyed an early morning visit from a pair of magpie birds; they were large, blue & very beautiful, while drinking our coffee on the patio and watching the ocean. We heard first, then spotted howler monkeys in the forest behind the condo's. We viewed anteaters, various squirrels, lots of iguanas & birds including flocks of green parrots. We saw numerous fish on our Snorkeling/ATV tour through the Sporting business just behind the large Westin pool before the beach (worth the $). You can be as active or not as you wish; plenty of activites or pool chairs, whichever you choose. I thought I saw a very large (8+ foot) python or anaconda crossing the road one night while driving to the club for dinner (on the paved road that turns to dirt for a little bit). My husband was driving and I made him back up. Our teenagers were thrilled to see it in it's own habitat! It was grande! I was glad to be in the car!!!! hehe We felt very safe on this vacation as we actually rented a car & drove from San Jose (4 1/2 hour drive but scenic)! We let our teens go to the neighborhood pool to swim, hot tub, or SKYPE friends by themselves. We requested service once and maintenance came and replaced the battery in the door immediately. The three restaurants we tried (inside resort) all had impecable food. The Cowboy Chocolate Steak at AGUAVE was incredibly good. Our families favorite was The Mediterrean. (We did the all inclusive $$$ through Westin for 2 days) The quality & expertise of the chefs was that of any 4 to 5 star restaurant in any big city in the U.S. Our teens fell in love with watermelon smoothies poolside. Westin & Rita do it right! This is a first class resort & condo. Our family voted this as our best vacation yet!!!

My family enjoyed a fabulous vacation in this beautiful condo in Reserva Conchal. From the moment you arrive at Reserva Conchal, you know you're on vacation. Its a beautiful, peaceful resort with amenities that the entire family can enjoy. The condo is tastefully decorated and has everything you could need while on vacation. The Pacific facing deck cannot be beat to watch the ocean at any time of day. The unit is also perfectly situated within the resort. It is walking distance to golf, tennis, swimming and the beach. While the Carao complex has its own pool, our family truly enjoyed the beach club with its gym/spa, enormous pool, poolside service and easy access to Playa Conchal. I would not hesitate to recommend this condo and hope to return soon.

If you are looking for the perfect getaway to share with family or friends, you will be delighted with the privacy of this three bedroom 3 and bath Penthouse. Views of the mountains and Pacific ocean are seen from the balcony, dining room and bedrooms.We enjoyed the songs of birds and the Howler monkeys who travel through and sometimes visit in he big tree by the balcony. Best vacation, came back feeling 10 years younger.
