They are self-contained and have their own private entrances and lanais. The rate section below reflects the price for the entire cottage -3BD/3BA for up to 8 guests. It's the perfect place to hold a family gathering or group holiday! If you need less space, please contact us for the rates.

** The 1BD/1BA can be rented out separately for 1-2 guests: $99-$149/nt, plus tax

Inside the Cottage, you'll relax in a lovely contemporary Hawaiiana setting while the outside has two large 35' covered lanais for dining & your sunset viewing! Our property lends itself to a typical island setting of bougainvillea, plumeria and hibiscus flowers everywhere. We also have 2 fruit orchards of lemons, limes, grapefruits and papayas that you can take advantage of for breakfast or snacks.
The Cottage is located on one end of 2 private acres and our main house is on the other side. No crowds and no traffic! We live in the main house year round and we love to provide you with information on all that Maui has to offer to make your visit here a more memorable one.
In this tight economy, we help you afford your dream vacation or honeymoon by giving you ideas on how to stretch your get-away dollars. How? Lodging is expensive so stay in our Cottage instead of a hotel room. We are less expensive, offer a full kitchen, separate bedrooms, and are located in a much sought after community with million dollar views. Eating out can get expensive, so we'll give you tips on how to save a small fortune on your meals. Activities add up quickly. We'll tell you where to look for discounts.
Beaches! Our Cottage is just 2 minutes (driving) from Launiupoko Beach. Jimmy Buffett has been known to surf there so you know it's got to be good. It's a very popular spot for surfing and paddle boarding so you'll take lots of great photos to show to friends and family. You'll spend the day sunbathing, whalewatching or surfing and taking advantage of the BBQ facilities. Because we're just on the edge of town you won't get caught up in the traffic through Lahaina when traveling to some of our more private beaches. One of the best white sand beaches is just down the road and we'll direct you to other secluded beaches, as well.
Launiupoko is just off the main road (Hwy. 30) and overlooks all of the Lahaina area so it provides quite a view. It offers jogging, hiking, biking paths, and horse trails if you're so inclined and we're only 5 minutes from Lahaina Town for shopping, restaurants and entertainment. We tell you the best place for souvenirs, where to look for discounts on restaurants and some great shows that you won't want to miss.
If golf is what you're looking for, you'll have several nearby golf courses to choose from, including the Kaanapali course and the Kapalua course...the home of the famous Mercedes Championship. All within 10-20 minutes of the Cottage.
After a busy day, you can return to the Cottage and prepare a casual dinner or BBQ. Sit back and enjoy your meal while talking about your day and taking in the beauty of the romantic Maui sunsets.

We first traveled to Maui to get married. We had a beautiful sunset ceremony on the beach at Kaanapali and fell in love with the Island. It's your typical story of deciding right then and there that we wanted to move here. The Lanikai is a result of our labor of love of this property! It's a peaceful, relaxing haven at any time of the day and you'll find yourself being totally re-energized by the beauty and solitude of the area.
